It can be a little noisy at times, but our family is loving it down stair at our basement bar. I think my mother in law is going to purchase one also for there house.

The power button on the front is easily hit and turns it off. The ice constantly melts because it's not refrigerated. Since it's always melting the lower ice is wet and waters down drinks. I mainly use it for water so it's fine. But I wanted to for dranky dranks. It makes ice fast but if you're filling up a larger yeti cup it doesn't make enough for two. I do love that it's munchable ice. It's a lot better than the standard cheap counter top ice makers. But in my opinion it's not worth the extra hundreds of dollars yet.
