Once connected to the wireless this thing rocks. The app allows you to set schedules and turn it off and on from anywhere with an internet connection. The best part is the ice of course.

Finally an ice maker that works!! We've had issues with the ice maker in two refrigerators and this product has solved that!! Plus the nugget ice is awesome!!

This machine is amazing!!! I love it! Nugget ice at home is a dream come true! I can set it to start making ice before I get out bed! Yes it might be considered loud for some people, but it does not bother us at all because it's making magic!

This is the second opal ice machine we've owned! Love it, but it did have a ding on the side that the water tank is on and the clip on the back that holds the drain tube has a leg broken off, so it only holds one of the tubes in place!

This is my second Opal. I had an original Opal that failed, I have had this one up and running for a month with no issues. I look forward to get ice for a long tie to come.

It's been a problem since day 3 of having it. I had to buy external fans to keep it cool. Im also worried about the mold I will most likely find when I open it to clean, like others have done.

We have had the unit for several months and so far it's been great! Time will tell the story with regard to reliability. We are hoping for the best!

The Opal is a great appliance! I bought it in lieu of purchasing a refrigerator with ice maker. My family and I use it everyday and cleaning is easy. I highly recommend this ice maker!
