After setting the ice maker up (we followed all the directions for the cleaning steps), it works perfectly and we had ice for our drinks in less than an hour! It is very quiet and the light is nice to have at night in the kitchen.

Love this countertop ice maker for drinks all year long. Only gave four stars as it is really noisy in the Defrost cycle such that it sounds like a cat screaming in an alleyway. Otherwise live it!

I feel when I receive a product it should be ready to work. I should not have to clean it before I use it. But we do love the ice! I would recommend it but prepare them that it's going to have to be cleaned first. It's not a plug in and go.

I'd give it 5 stars but it is a little noisy and it can sometimes be a bit vague and seem like it's not operating then just kicks back into gear and is fine. Generally very nice.

We've been battling the fact that we haven't had an ice maker in our fridge for months now, so this baby is a straight up life savor! And it looks smooth on top of that.

We had an issue with the first machine we received but GE was very quick to send us a replacement. We have had zero issues with the new product. We are enjoying our abundance of crunchy ice.

It works great out the box but after so many months I don't care what brand they mess up. This one seems to be a little better than the 4 ice machines I have had so far. But buy a protection plan!!!

Love my Opal 2.0 Ice Maker. In the past 2 years I have purchased (3) other cheaper Brand Ice Makers and they did not last a year. This one is by far the best one so far.

I really like this machine, everything works like it should, I like the wifi connection phone access, it is fast at making ice great crunchy kind, it is well built and looks great on the countertop.

We use the ice maker everyday with no issues. It makes plenty of ice for our needs. I highly recommend getting the additional water container. Without it, we would be constantly filling up the main container.
