It's quiet, makes ice well and keeps it cold, and it's very effortless. I use the side tank and fill up once a day and it continually makes ice with no issue.

Other reviews are right: it's easy to set up, makes great ice, and plenty of it. Only downside is it is a bit noisy. Just a background hum when the house is silent. But certainly noisier than a fridge ice maker. Also. Needs PLENTY of counter space!

We love our ice maker so much that we use it for all of our ice. We quit buying ice for parties and stock up on the nugget ice that it makes. We got this because we love the ice from Sonic and this ice maker makes the same kind of ice.

Best appliance in our house WHEN ITS WORKING. We are on our 3rd!!! We follow the rules. We clean it. We use only osmosis filtered water, and it still doesn't work. First one lasted almost a year. Then the next two aren't lasting a month.

Very pleased with the purchase. Ice tastes great and the machine makes new ice pretty quickly. My only concern is how often I'll have to clean the tank given the hard water in my area.
