Just set it up...so far, so good. I like the design and the unique features (side container & water filter)

The ice machine makes good ice nuggets however every day it will start making a very loud screeching noise that I cant fix.

I love it when it's running correctly. It's been getting stuck in add water mode and I haven't been able to get it out.

The cleaning light continually flashes and wont stop. Called the help desk and they informed me that it was a software glitch!

Please do not buy these icemakers break down and the replacement is either none or a refurbished unit! Please check the Better Business Bureau regarding this opal icemaker and the company behind it they have a letter “F”! Do not spend your money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. No noisier than the refrigerator. Nuggets are perfect. I hope this machine lasts a long time because even though I got it on sale, still very pricey. I hope it's worth the money.

Not good, GE wanna replace my ice maker with a rebuilt one, they will hear from me on the next business day what some losers. You pay to much money for this to be happening

The loud scraping noise all day is ridiculous. I used for 2 days hoping the sound would go away it didnt. So its been unplugged and unsused. And it barely put out any ice.
