Perfect breakfast when (1.5 Cups) put into a crockpot with chopped green apple(s), frozen blueberries (tons! -- I mean, I've never managed to use too much), hemp and flax seeds, cinnamon, brown sugar, bit of salt, drizzle of olive oil, water (3 Cups) and turned to HIGH for three hours. Do this, and you'll look forward to a tasty, healthy breakfast for at LEAST the next 3-4 days.

I love these steel cut oats! I grew up on quick oats and had never tried steel cut until a few years ago. What a difference in taste and texture. I have tried several brands but this is my favorite!

Good texture and taste. Worth the money but pricey. Has more fat, like Quaker (which is half the price) at 3% vs. 1% for McCann's Irish Oats.

Twice I've bought this item...and partly due to Walmart's horrible website..(reminds me of Sears or a govt website) slow, and agonizingly crappy. This is NOT oatmeal....more like tasteless oat frog eggs or BBs. My birds wouldn't even touch it in my birdfeeders.
