But once it is turned on the picture is unbelievable - crisp, bright with vivid colors that makes watching anything a joy; sporting events feel like you are there. I already had a 65” LG OLED C9 that performed beautifully but the 83” C5 is even better.

The blacks are actually black, colors pop, HDR content just hits different, and it really does give that “cinema” vibe. Brightness is better than my earlier TVs.. The built-in speakers are fine with good sound quality. The webOS interface is clean and fast, and all the streaming apps are right there. AI Picture/Sound modes are cool too—sometimes I leave them on, sometimes I tweak things myself. It's super thin and looks slick on the wall. Definitely has that “premium” vibe.

After 5 years of amazing quality and no issues with burn-in we jumped at the chance to add a 77 inch C5 to our collection. The CX was jaw dropping then but somehow LG just keeps getting better and better. Many don't realize that this breakthrough in technology and price was only possible due to the decades of relentless investment by LG into figuring out how to mass produce OLED TVs at an affordable price.
