However, picture is great and like any OLED the blacks and contrast are spectacular. If you can get this TV on a deal such as I have then you will have no real complaints (even though its on a deal, still very expensive). Oh and you should expect to get a sound system or sound bar if you are getting this TV, built in speakers not great.

The 77" screen completely changes movie nights – blacks are truly black, colors are rich without looking fake, and HDR content really pops. The newer OLED evo panel with Brightness Booster / “Bright Room Ready” holds up surprisingly well in my bright living room, which was my biggest concern going in. For gaming, this TV is a beast: 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, support for up to 4K/144Hz with VRR and ALLM, and super low input lag. My PS5/PC games look incredibly smooth, and the TV automatically switches into the right game mode. webOS is snappy, apps like Netflix/Disney+/Prime are built in, and the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor keeps everything feeling fast while also doing excellent upscaling on 1080p content. Of course, this is when watching the appropriate media. (I was watching an UHD disk of a movie). Out of the box, menu was really cluttered with apps I didn't need (not subscribed to most) and unwanted ads. I deleted the unused apps to de-clutter. Remote is nice with a point-at-screen-and-click feature. However, the precision of the pointing is a tad off. You get used to it. My package came with an LG soundbar which worked with the LG TV remote, which is a huge plus and allows me to put away the soundbar's remote. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase

Build quality appears to be solid as material of frame and base are metal vice plastic compare to other TVs in the market. Following Rting for calibration. Color saturation is good in both bright and dark rooms. I'd like to stick with realistic pictures thus opted for Dark Room Expert mode vice Vivid. Set up process is mostly painless and logical. Interface could improve to make selecting input source easier. Sound quality is average. Not really impressed with AI Pro sound mode. Stuck with Cinema. Overall, it has been good thus far after few days of use. Hopefully it'll last for longevity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my 77" LG OLED C5 TV and it was a massive upgrade my from 62" LED! The color is infinitely better and the black/white contrast is amazing. In Vivid Mode, colors really pop out. I can now understand and appreciate 4K movies and videos, showing amazing details. I'm still fiddling around with the settings to get the most ideal video settings but so far I'm very impressed with everything including refresh rate and how seamlessly everything works.

First thing is wow on the details. The c5 makes sure look good and her look amazing. You can see the details so well. Even on anime, watching demon slayer and the fire looks real. Gaming feels great too. Looks awesome and the reaction time is great. Sound is good too. Overall very happy with my choice.
