Amazing TV and Amazing Colors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is amazing. Upgraded from a 10 year old TV that was starting to show it's age. What a difference! I picked an OLED because I wanted the vibrant colors and picture quality. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are pitch black. The speakers of the TV were also great, don't even need a soundbar. The TV is also loaded with apps and buttery smooth. The C5 was also easy to setup. I'd recommend this TV my friends and family.
Outstanding OLED Picture Quality and Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display quality on this OLED TV is exceptional. Blacks are truly deep, contrast is excellent, and colors look vibrant yet accurate. Motion handling is smooth, making it great for movies, sports, and gaming. The 4K resolution and refresh rate deliver a very sharp and immersive viewing experience. Overall, this TV feels premium and performs exactly as expected from a high-end OLED.
Brilliant TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for the ultimate centerpiece for your home theater, the LG OLED77C5PUA is effectively the "gold standard" TV of 2025. Succeeding the wildly popular C4, the C5 doesn't reinvent the wheel—it polishes it to a blinding shine. I have spent two weeks with the 77-inch C5, throwing everything from 4K Blu-rays to high-frame-rate PC games at it. Here is why this TV is an absolute beast. 1. Picture Quality: Intelligence Meets Intensity The headline feature this year is the new α9 AI Processor Gen8. LG talks a lot about "AI" in their marketing, but this year you can actually see it working. Brightness: While the C5 doesn't have the Micro Lens Array (MLA) tech reserved for the pricier G5, it is noticeably brighter than last year's C4. The "Brightness Booster" tech pushes highlights—explosions, streetlights, stars—with an intensity that makes HDR content pop off the screen. SDR Performance: This is the sleeper hit feature. The C5 takes standard content (like older TV shows or 1080p streams) and revitalizes it. The upscaling is cleaner, sharper, and brighter without looking artificial. Color & Contrast: You get the infinite contrast OLED is famous for. Blacks are inky and perfect. Colors are rich but natural. 2. Gaming: The Best Just Got Better If you are a gamer, stop looking. You have found your TV. The 77-inch canvas is immersive enough to replace a multi-monitor setup. 144Hz Refresh Rate: PC gamers can push frame rates up to 144Hz for buttery smooth motion. VRR & ALLM: With full support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium, screen tearing is nonexistent. Game Optimizer: The dashboard puts critical settings (black stabilizer, genre presets) one click away. Input lag is virtually undetectable. 3. Design & Usability The "C" series aesthetic remains undefeated. The panel is razor-thin—thinner than your smartphone—and the 77-inch model sits on a sturdy, premium stand (though it begs to be wall-mounted). webOS 25: The new operating system is snappier than ever. The "AI Concierge" actually learns what you like rather than just pushing random ads. Navigating between Netflix, GeForce Now, and HDMI inputs feels instant. 4. The "Wow" Factor There is something visceral about a 77-inch OLED. It fills your peripheral vision. Watching Dune: Part Two or playing Cyberpunk 2077 on this screen isn't just "watching TV"—it's an event. The sheer scale combined with the pixel-perfect contrast creates a 3D-like depth that LED TVs still can't quite replicate. Any Downsides? Sound: The built-in 2.2 channel audio is surprisingly decent with clear dialogue, but if you are spending this much on a visual masterpiece, do yourself a favor and buy a Dolby Atmos soundbar. The TV deserves it. Glass Reflection: Like all glossy OLEDs, you'll want to control the lighting in your room. It handles reflections better than the C3 or C4, but direct sunlight is still the enemy. Final Thoughts The LG OLED77C5PUA is a triumph.[1] It sits in that perfect sweet spot: significantly better than entry-level OLEDs, but much more affordable than the flagship G5 Gallery Series. If you want a TV that will make your jaw drop every time you turn it on for the next 5 years, this is the one. Pros: Stunning HDR brightness and contrast Class-leading gaming features (144Hz, 0.1ms response)[1] New Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor makes everything look 4K[2] Gorgeous, ultra-thin design[3]
Amazing TV, stunning picture quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG C5 77” OLED, and it has completely transformed my home entertainment experience. The picture quality is nothing short of breathtaking. The OLED panel delivers perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible contrast that makes every movie, show, and game look cinematic. HDR performance is especially impressive — highlights pop without blowing out, and dark scenes retain rich detail. The AI-enhanced processing is fast and smooth, automatically optimizing picture and sound based on what you're watching. Motion handling is excellent, making sports and action scenes fluid and crisp. For gaming, the low input lag and 4K 120Hz support make this TV a dream; everything feels responsive and visually stunning on such a large screen. The design is sleek and premium, with thin bezels that make the 77” screen feel even more immersive. webOS is intuitive and responsive, with all major apps available and easy to navigate. Overall, the LG C5 77” is a masterpiece. Whether you're a movie buff, a gamer, or just want the best picture quality available, this TV delivers on every front. Worth every penny and highly recommended!
Great TV - lets you disabled ads!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've upgraded from an LG C2 65 inch TV to a C5 77 inch TV and I'm very happy with the outcome. The TV looks great, is a LOT brighter than the C2 series, and performs well in my quite-bright living room. Additionally, LG WebOS lets you disable home screen ads - this is a KEY selling point for me! Overall I am very satisfied with the new TV.
Perfect TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is spectacular to watch. The colors are vibrant and the blacks are perfect. Setting up the TV was a piece of cake and the built-in ecosystem seems sufficient for streaming anything. I recommend mounting this TV instead of using the stand though.
Best TV I've purchased!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Performance wise, this TV is smooth. LG's new processor handles motion better than older models, so fast scenes don't blur as much. Gaming on it is really good with low input lag, all the HDMI 2.1 features, and a picture that makes games look like they were made for this screen. The built-in webOS still has its little quirks, but it's quick and easy to bounce between apps. For a TV this big, the sound is better than expected, though most people will still want a soundbar. Overall, the 77” LG C5 OLED is one of those TVs that makes everything you watch feel premium. It's not cheap, but once you see it in action, it's hard to go back.
AMAZING OLED, great sound, great tech
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the tv and I was blown away right away. The 77 in is great for large rooms and it has no issues in naturally lit rooms. The sound is not bad either major improvement over regular tvs. And the inky blacks really make the oled great.vivid colors.
Amazing TV!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic TV and exceptional value. We love watching movies on this, especially ones that use Dolby Vision. We got the 77in one and its absolutely stunning in quality and size. Could not recommend this more!
Excellent TV for everything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid movie watcher and gamer. This TV can handle it all. Movies look amazing, especially in 4k/HDR. If you watch tv on basic apps or cable like spectrum, the picture is still good. i noticed more sharpness on the C5 then the C4. Also, for gamers, the 4 HDMI ports are great. it allows for me to have my xbox, switch, and soundbar to all be active with an extra port to spare. The apps on the TV are great as the TV supports everything I use from Crunchyroll to HBO MAX. Overall, this is a great TV. Super bright and perfect black. This is my first OLED so I am super happy with it.
