I owned an LG C3 that I have used as a computer monitor for 2 years and absolutely love it, playing games and watching movies on it feels like looking at a painting. Excited to now buy a 77" C5 for my living room, I know its gonna be amazing!

The picture quality is incredible — the colors are rich, the contrast is perfect, and the black levels are truly pitch-black. Movies look cinematic, sports are smooth, and gaming on this TV is next-level. The 120–144Hz support and HDMI 2.1 ports make it perfect for next-gen consoles and PC gaming. The design is sleek and modern, and despite being a 77-inch screen, it looks amazingly thin on the wall. The a9 AI Processor really does a great job upscaling older content, and webOS is fast, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Even the sound is better than I expected for built-in speakers, though I paired it with a soundbar for the full experience. Build quality appears to be solid as material of frame and base are metal vice plastic compare to other TVs in the market. Following Rting for calibration. Color saturation is good in both bright and dark rooms. I'd like to stick with realistic pictures thus opted for Dark Room Expert mode vice Vivid. Set up process is mostly painless and logical. Interface could improve to make selecting input source easier. Sound quality is average. Not really impressed with AI Pro sound mode. Stuck with Cinema. Overall, it has been good thus far after few days of use. Hopefully it'll last for longevity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.

The only small drawbacks I noticed are some reflections in brighter rooms and the fact that it doesn’t support DTS audio passthrough. The picture quality is excellent, and watching movies and playing games on the 77" screen is an impressive, immersive experience. I love being able to customize the settings for each specific input and the new remote has been an improvement so far from previous magic remotes. The only flaw is the known green tint when watching the tv at an angle. Personally, I have grown used to it and it's not too noticeable so it doesn't bother me but something to think about. Overall, I would highly recommend the LG C5.
