Even though I was already used to OLED displays, this TV blew me away. The contrast, colors, and motion handling are all phenomenal. I appreciate the on board OS allows you to limit advertisements almost completely. The only drawback is the internal speaker quality is not the greatest. However, that is usually never the case for any TV in my experience. We use a soundbar and have no issues at all.

But once it is turned on the picture is unbelievable - crisp, bright with vivid colors that makes watching anything a joy; sporting events feel like you are there. I already had a 65” LG OLED C9 that performed beautifully but the 83” C5 is even better.

I was looking for an upgrade , I am so happy to get an LGC577 inch TV . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this TV and have been using it for a week. Upgraded from a 55" TV to 77" OLED so the difference was massive. Setup was really easy from the hardware to the initial setup. Everything is integrated with LG ThinQ and was a breeze. Apps were easy to find and install. The TV and its software is extremely responsive and there is hardly any Colors on this TV is absolutely amazing. The colors pop in both bright and dim lighting. The darks, especially blacks are very deep and you can really tell the quality of it. What makes this TV for me is that it has an amazing viewing angle and can be seen from all parts of the room with no change in quality. Overall, a great TV for the price! Picture quality is top notch. 100% would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.

After reading about the 2025 models, I finally decided to grab the 65” LG C5, and wow—I genuinely don't know why I waited so long. The Brightness (It actually handles daylight!) This was my biggest worry, but the "Brightness Booster" on the C5 is legitimate. We watched a football game last Sunday at noon with the blinds halfway open, and the picture still popped. It's significantly brighter than older OLEDs I've seen at friends' houses. When the sun goes down and you watch HDR content (like Dune or Mandalorian), it's stunning. The blacks are perfect ink-dark, obviously, but those bright highlights—lasers, sunsets, reflections—are actually intense now. It doesn't just look good "for an OLED," it just looks incredible, period. Gaming Performance (Kid-Approved) While I use it for movies, the main reason we upgraded was for gaming, and this TV is an absolute cheat code. It has four full HDMI 2.1 ports, so we have both the PS5 and the gaming PC hooked up without fighting over ports. Running games at 144Hz is shockingly smooth; the difference in responsiveness is something you feel immediately in fast-paced shooters. The Game Optimizer dashboard is also super handy for quickly tweaking settings without digging through menus. The Real Test: My Son loves it My teenage son, who usually prefers playing on his high-refresh-rate gaming monitor in his room, has completely taken over the living room since we got this. He hooked up his PC to test it out and hasn't left. He plays a lot of competitive shooters (Valorant, Apex) and said the input lag is practically non-existent—he actually told me it feels "cracked" (which I assume means very good). We also played some co-op console games, and the colors and fluidity make everything feel next-gen again. Verdict If you were worried about brightness like I was, don't be. The C5 fixed that. It's the perfect hybrid TV—incredible for daytime sports and movies, and absolutely elite for gaming. It's an expensive purchase, but the whole family is loving it. Highly recommended.

I also have to say the OS upgrade is huge!! The menus are more user friendly and everything including downloads move at light speed. I cannot bribe the tv I just got at this price.
