I just can't get over how crisp and beautiful the picture is under any type of lighting. I also have to say the OS upgrade is huge!! The menus are more user friendly and everything including downloads move at light speed. I cannot bribe the tv I just got at this price. The picture is incredibly sharp and immersive, especially in darker rooms where OLED truly shines. However, while the brightness has improved compared to older models, it still isn't quite bright enough for rooms with a lot of daylight or strong overhead lighting. In brighter environments, the screen can look a bit dim and reflections become more noticeable. Overall, it's an excellent TV with premium visuals — just best suited for controlled-lighting setups rather than very bright rooms.

So many settings to tweak so you can get the levels of smoothing, de-judder, and color correction to suit your taste. Or turn on Filmmaker mode and leave the settings up to the creator of whatever you're watching! Big fans of horror movies here, so the darkness of the black pixels was a big selling point. They fully deliver on the promise; the contrast is amazing, and we're exciting to use this TV for many years to come. Only small downside is the lack of support for the Kanopy app; so many high-quality movies that we wish we had easy access to in the LG ecosystem.

The 77" screen completely changes movie nights – blacks are truly black, colors are rich without looking fake, and HDR content really pops. The newer OLED evo panel with Brightness Booster / “Bright Room Ready” holds up surprisingly well in my bright living room, which was my biggest concern going in. For gaming, this TV is a beast: 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, support for up to 4K/144Hz with VRR and ALLM, and super low input lag. My PS5/PC games look incredibly smooth, and the TV automatically switches into the right game mode. webOS is snappy, apps like Netflix/Disney+/Prime are built in, and the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor keeps everything feeling fast while also doing excellent upscaling on 1080p content.
