Amazing tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the tv for a short period time so far, but it's been amazing. The contrast in colors compared to my old tv is night and day. The blacks are very deep, it looks beautiful. The detail allows you to see all the make up used on shows and movies. Somehow the tv changed the audio quality of our speakers. My family noticed the changes right away. No regrets with the purchase.
Impressive!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my LED TV for a long time and decided to upgrade. And it was worth it! Colors are super vivid, bright and black contrast is outstanding. I was watching one of those animal documentary videos and you can see every single hair strand and tiny little flies. Technology is truly amazing. I'm finally able to take advantage of those 4K options in my streaming services. I'm still trying to fiddle around with the settings to get that perfect setting but since TV comes with a lot of options and customization, it's going to take time. I also got a great deal from LG with a bundle package so I actually bought it with no regrets.
Cinema-Ready, Gamer's Dream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're shopping for a large premium TV, the LG C5 OLED 77″ is a hard set to ignore. After spending considerable time with it, here's a breakdown of how it performs — and whether it's worth the investment. The LG C5 OLED 77″ hits an impressive sweet spot: premium OLED picture quality, serious gaming features, and general “all-use” flexibility. For the size and class, it offers tremendous value. If you're willing to invest a little in audio and manage your lighting, you'll likely be extremely pleased.
Sharp Image
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED77C5PUA is one of those TVs that immediately feels like an upgrade the moment you turn it on. The picture is incredibly sharp, with the kind of deep blacks and rich contrast that make movies and games look almost surreal, and the brightness is strong enough to give HDR content real punch without blowing out the details. Off-angle viewing is great too, which is a lifesaver if your couch setup isn't perfectly centered. The sound is surprisingly full for built-in speakers, though most people buying a TV this nice will probably still pair it with a soundbar. The only real downsides are the usual OLED quirks — reflections in bright rooms and a remote that feels a little more fiddly than it needs to be. It's a big, heavy TV, so setting it up isn't exactly a one-person job, but once it's in place, it's genuinely impressive for the price. Overall, it's a fantastic pick if you're after a huge, high-end screen without jumping into the crazy-expensive flagship tier.
Amazing Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this TV for the great specs and have been blown away after it arrived. The picture quality is amazing with a great refresh rate. I often watch sports and action movies and I'm in awe of how good the content looks on this TV. One of my favorite features is how good that sound quality is on this unit as compared to my old TV. You can tell that LG really invested time in enhancing the quality of the audio from the TV alone. While I ordered a soundbar to go along with the TV; the audio from the TV alone is sufficient and you won't be disappointed.
Brilliant TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for the ultimate centerpiece for your home theater, the LG OLED77C5PUA is effectively the "gold standard" TV of 2025. Succeeding the wildly popular C4, the C5 doesn't reinvent the wheel—it polishes it to a blinding shine. I have spent two weeks with the 77-inch C5, throwing everything from 4K Blu-rays to high-frame-rate PC games at it. Here is why this TV is an absolute beast. 1. Picture Quality: Intelligence Meets Intensity The headline feature this year is the new α9 AI Processor Gen8. LG talks a lot about "AI" in their marketing, but this year you can actually see it working. Brightness: While the C5 doesn't have the Micro Lens Array (MLA) tech reserved for the pricier G5, it is noticeably brighter than last year's C4. The "Brightness Booster" tech pushes highlights—explosions, streetlights, stars—with an intensity that makes HDR content pop off the screen. SDR Performance: This is the sleeper hit feature. The C5 takes standard content (like older TV shows or 1080p streams) and revitalizes it. The upscaling is cleaner, sharper, and brighter without looking artificial. Color & Contrast: You get the infinite contrast OLED is famous for. Blacks are inky and perfect. Colors are rich but natural. 2. Gaming: The Best Just Got Better If you are a gamer, stop looking. You have found your TV. The 77-inch canvas is immersive enough to replace a multi-monitor setup. 144Hz Refresh Rate: PC gamers can push frame rates up to 144Hz for buttery smooth motion. VRR & ALLM: With full support for NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium, screen tearing is nonexistent. Game Optimizer: The dashboard puts critical settings (black stabilizer, genre presets) one click away. Input lag is virtually undetectable. 3. Design & Usability The "C" series aesthetic remains undefeated. The panel is razor-thin—thinner than your smartphone—and the 77-inch model sits on a sturdy, premium stand (though it begs to be wall-mounted). webOS 25: The new operating system is snappier than ever. The "AI Concierge" actually learns what you like rather than just pushing random ads. Navigating between Netflix, GeForce Now, and HDMI inputs feels instant. 4. The "Wow" Factor There is something visceral about a 77-inch OLED. It fills your peripheral vision. Watching Dune: Part Two or playing Cyberpunk 2077 on this screen isn't just "watching TV"—it's an event. The sheer scale combined with the pixel-perfect contrast creates a 3D-like depth that LED TVs still can't quite replicate. Any Downsides? Sound: The built-in 2.2 channel audio is surprisingly decent with clear dialogue, but if you are spending this much on a visual masterpiece, do yourself a favor and buy a Dolby Atmos soundbar. The TV deserves it. Glass Reflection: Like all glossy OLEDs, you'll want to control the lighting in your room. It handles reflections better than the C3 or C4, but direct sunlight is still the enemy. Final Thoughts The LG OLED77C5PUA is a triumph.[1] It sits in that perfect sweet spot: significantly better than entry-level OLEDs, but much more affordable than the flagship G5 Gallery Series. If you want a TV that will make your jaw drop every time you turn it on for the next 5 years, this is the one. Pros: Stunning HDR brightness and contrast Class-leading gaming features (144Hz, 0.1ms response)[1] New Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor makes everything look 4K[2] Gorgeous, ultra-thin design[3]
We're so happy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG 77-inch OLED evo AI 4K Smart TV and it has exceeded expectations. The OLED panel produces perfect blacks, rich contrast, and vibrant yet natural colors, which makes movies and streaming feel like a theater experience. HDR content looks especially impressive, and the picture quality holds up well whether the room is bright or dark. Motion is smooth, response is sharp, and there is no noticeable blur, which makes this set great for action movies, sports, and games. The built-in smart platform is responsive and makes accessing apps and casting content very easy. We're very happy!
Great picture quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old LGLCD TV with a new 77 inch OLED C5. The picture quality has drastically improved. The user interface is easy to use as well as fast. I have the TV placed in a sunny area and noticed that glare is not an issue at all. Overall great value for the price.
Excellent TV for price range and value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the last year LG c4 model and that was a huge upgrade for me coming from the university 43'' tv. I was really happy with it an unsure how it could get better. However this year 77;l c5 blew my mind for the discounted price and quality. It took me awhile to get used to it since it was so bright and big, but after less than a day i put it in my bedroom to serve as a cinema. And everyday since then I haven't had t go to the theatre, it like i have a cinema experience in my bedroom.
Excellent high end tv that ticks all the boxes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED C5 83-inch is an excellent high-end TV, especially strong for movies and gaming, and it hits all the points that makes this tv the best choice: connectivity, display, processor, refresh rate, and resolution. Display is amazing even in our bright living room. It infact exceeded my expectations. We already have a C4 65' tv that we bought 5 years ago which has become a part of our family and this just another terrific addition to our new home high roof living room wall. The LG C5 83-inch is a 4K UHD TV, so resolution is , with full support for 4K streaming, 4K Blu‑ray, and 4K gaming. Sound in this TV is impressive than the older version. Looking forward to the Christmas break to enjoy the Christmas movies on this. 😀 Overall we are super happy with the purchase and we got it for a great price for this thanks giving too.
