LG 83" C5 OLED - BEST Bang for Buck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this TV overall. The picture quality is insane, the brightness is solid even in my living room, and the size alone makes movies and sports feel completely different. LG definitely did their thing with the panel. One thing that disappointed me was the lack of a mounting point for the Synergy bracket. On the smaller sizes this TV supports it, so I expected the 83” to have the same option. For a premium TV at this size and price point, it feels like something that should be included. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely inconvenient if you're planning a full LG ecosystem setup. Other than that, it's been great. I just wish they didn't remove that feature on the biggest model.

OLED TV with best control including darkness nits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased LC OLED C5 77inch model. First of all, the screen is very slick. Installation was very straight forward including the wall mounting. Once setup was done, I was playing out the setting to get the best screen experience. When I started adjusting the darkness level of black pixels, I saw huge difference. I tried setting the darkness level close to 0 to truly represent black pixels. And at night, I set darkness level to 0 for black pixels and I put complete black picture on screen. It was really hard to see if TV is showing black photo or it is just turned off. It was that good experience. The whole point for me to chose OLED was to better differentiate colored pixels from black pixels... And this LG TV does amazing job. Quite happy with the purchase.

Great Picture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED C5 77” is an incredible TV. The picture quality is incredibly sharp, and the colors really pop in a way that makes movies and games feel more immersive compared to my previous TV. Dark scenes look rich and detailed, and bright scenes are vibrant. The smart features make it easy to use and the display options make it simple to navigate and switch between inputs, etc. It's a fantastic upgrade.

Absolutely Stunning Picture and Next-Gen Options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the 83” LG C5 OLED, and it's hands down one of the best purchases I've ever made. The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking — deep, inky blacks, vibrant yet natural colors, and incredible contrast that makes every movie and sports game pop off the screen. Even in a bright room, the OLED panel handles glare surprisingly well. The new Alpha 11 AI processor does an amazing job optimizing content automatically — from 4K Blu-rays to streaming shows, everything looks crisp and lifelike. Motion is buttery smooth, and the 120Hz refresh rate combined with LG's Game Optimizer makes this a dream for gaming. The input lag is nearly nonexistent, and HDMI 2.1 support on all ports is a huge plus for next-gen consoles. The webOS interface is fast and intuitive, and pairing it with the Magic Remote feels natural — voice commands work great too. The built-in speakers are surprisingly full, but pairing it with a Dolby Atmos soundbar takes it to a whole new level. At 83 inches, the size is immersive without overwhelming the room. Movies feel like a theater experience, and sports are just on another level — it's like being on the field. If you're debating between OLED models or waiting for the next sale, trust me — the LG C5 is worth it. The performance, design, and image quality are second to none.

“Stunning picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 77-inch C5 delivers an incredible viewing experience. The picture quality is truly the best—colors look rich and lifelike, blacks are perfectly deep, and the contrast makes every detail stand out whether watching movies, sports, or gaming. Everything feels cinematic without any need for extra adjustments. The only drawback is the remote design. It would be much more convenient if there were a dedicated button just for changing to the last input use, such as a button to toggle between antenna and hdmi 1. Overall, this TV sets a high bar for image quality, and with a small tweak to the remote, it would be nearly perfect.

Great picture quality and interface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture quality and immersive viewing experience at a 12' viewing distance. Well packed (It's a giant box), easy enough to get mounted up on the wall, and very thin. I was pleasantly surprised by the built in webos interface for how responsive and intuitive it is to navigate with the magic remote. So far we haven't felt the need to install an external media viewer, and are going to stick with the built in app. I like the customizable picture settings with being able to tune in sharpening, upscaling, gamma, color temp etc. The brightness is more than sufficient for my fairly dark living room, and I even turned down the max brightness a little given our environment. If you're in a dark room, you really don't need the brighter models. I didn't expect much form the built-in speakers, so I paired it with an old soundbar with the intention of upgrading it later.

Amazing Picture at an Amazing Price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE this TV. The OLED picture is incredible coming from an older QLED style TV. 77 is the perfect size for a living room with high ceilings, without looking small in the room or overbearing on the wall. Setup was super quick and easy. No color tweaking required, looks great out of the box in Cinema dolby vision mode. Sound is good for a TV but nobody uses built in sound anymore.

BIGGER IS BETTER and AMAZING!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really cannot comprehend how far Tvs have come in just a few years. This C5 OLED comes with an amazing amount of clarity and brightness that helps if you have a bright room. Out the box, the colors all pop on each picture setting. There's no tinkering that needs to be done. I hooked it up with my PC and PS5 and you can tell the extra Hrz really helps with gaming. I cannot think of any negatives but if you're on the fence between a 65 inch or 77 inch, go for bigger. That's a huge difference in size and it really helps bring out the picture. GREAT GREAT PRICE TOO
