After 5 years of amazing quality and no issues with burn-in we jumped at the chance to add a 77 inch C5 to our collection. The CX was jaw dropping then but somehow LG just keeps getting better and better. Many don't realize that this breakthrough in technology and price was only possible due to the decades of relentless investment by LG into figuring out how to mass produce OLED TVs at an affordable price. Thank you LG for bringing this amazing technology to the world! Once you go LG OLED you are a customer for life!

Of course it has perfect blacks being an oled but so much brighter. Also have it connected to my Sonos arc and now get Dolby atmos through the ears which the old tv did not have. Very happy with my purchase.

I have mine in a large bright room and it is true that it is bright room ready. I enjoy the new magic remote with the new AI assistant! If you are thinking about getting this vs a QLED tv, it is worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.

For years our media room seemed as if the TV just wasn't the right size. We had a 65 inch in the room but it just didn't have the picture quality or the right size for that room. The LG OLED 77 inch filled the room perfectly not just the size but the picture quality is unbelievable. What do I love about the LG OLED AI C5... Great picture quality! The black levels are incredible it gives perfect contrast that makes dark scenes pop. Colors are accurate and look great. It has a wide range of colors. We looked at allot of TVS but none came close to the LG OLED 77 inch C5. HDR performance is amazing and so is the AI . The other reason we went with the LG OLED was for the gaming aspect. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, supports 4k gaming and has a 144hz refresh rate. The webOS has a great feel to it. We like how the remote is like using a mouse on screen and best of all it's user friendly. If your looking for a great OLED TV, look no further this is the one to get.... you'll be glad you did!! First thing is wow on the details. The c5 makes sure look good and her look amazing. You can see the details so well. Even on anime, watching demon slayer and the fire looks real. Gaming feels great too. Looks awesome and the reaction time is great. Sound is good too. Overall very happy with my choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on an OLED for our main living room because we have a lot of windows, and I was always worried it would look too dim during the day. After reading about the 2025 models, I finally decided to grab the 65” LG C5, and wow—I genuinely don't know why I waited so long. The Brightness (It actually handles daylight!) This was my biggest worry, but the "Brightness Booster" on the C5 is legitimate. We watched a football game last Sunday at noon with the blinds halfway open, and the picture still popped. It's significantly brighter than older OLEDs I've seen at friends' houses. When the sun goes down and you watch HDR content (like Dune or Mandalorian), it's stunning. The blacks are perfect ink-dark, obviously, but those bright highlights—lasers, sunsets, reflections—are actually intense now. It doesn't just look good "for an OLED," it just looks incredible, period. Gaming Performance (Kid-Approved) While I use it for movies, the main reason we upgraded was for gaming, and this TV is an absolute cheat code. It has four full HDMI 2.1 ports, so we have both the PS5 and the gaming PC hooked up without fighting over ports. Running games at 144Hz is shockingly smooth; the difference in responsiveness is something you feel immediately in fast-paced shooters. The Game Optimizer dashboard is also super handy for quickly tweaking settings without digging through menus. The Real Test: My Son loves it My teenage son, who usually prefers playing on his high-refresh-rate gaming monitor in his room, has completely taken over the living room since we got this. He hooked up his PC to test it out and hasn't left. He plays a lot of competitive shooters (Valorant, Apex) and said the input lag is practically non-existent—he actually told me it feels "cracked" (which I assume means very good). We also played some co-op console games, and the colors and fluidity make everything feel next-gen again. Verdict If you were worried about brightness like I was, don't be. The C5 fixed that. It's the perfect hybrid TV—incredible for daytime sports and movies, and absolutely elite for gaming. It's an expensive purchase, but the whole family is loving it. Highly recommended.
