Absolutely Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the 65" LG C1 OLED for about 5 years and have been really happy with it, so I honestly didn't think a new TV could impress me that much more. I finally decided to upgrade to the 77" C5 after seeing all the positive reviews—and I was stunned the moment I turned it on. The picture quality is just on another level: the blacks are inky, colors are rich without looking cartoonish, and the extra brightness really makes HDR movies and shows pop. The larger 77" size is incredibly immersive, especially for movies and sports, but it still feels sharp and detailed, not stretched. Motion handling is smooth, which has been great for both fast-paced action and gaming. The smart TV interface is snappy and easy to use, apps load quickly, and all the usual streaming services run flawlessly. Gaming on this thing is a dream—low input lag, great response, and everything just looks so clean and vibrant. Overall, I already loved my C1, but the C5 feels like a true step up in every way. If you're on the fence about upgrading, especially from an older OLED, I can genuinely say I absolutely love this TV and have zero regrets.

A Worthy Upgrade From an Already Great LG OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of enjoying my LG OLED B7 65”, I finally decided to upgrade to something newer and larger — the 77” LG OLED C5 — and the experience has been nothing short of incredible. I've always stuck with OLED because nothing else matches its superior image quality, and LG has consistently delivered some of the best displays in the industry. My B7 was an amazing TV, so I came into this upgrade with pretty high expectations. The C5 not only met those expectations but exceeded them. The larger 77-inch screen instantly makes movies and games feel more immersive, but what really stands out is the jump in picture quality. The image is noticeably brighter, and the colors are far more vivid and lifelike compared to my older model. Another major improvement is how well the C5 handles bright rooms. My living room has several windows, and the TV still delivers an excellent picture even during the day. The enhanced brightness cuts through ambient light easily, and reflections are not noticeable at all during movie watching or gameplay. This is a huge improvement coming from the B7. Gaming has also taken a significant leap forward. The addition of 144Hz VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) makes motion incredibly smooth, gameplay more responsive, and overall performance far better than the B7's 60Hz panel. WebOS also feels much more modern, thanks to the new A9 AI Gen 8 processor. Apps open faster, menus feel smoother, and navigating between streaming services is noticeably quicker and more responsive. It's a clear upgrade over the older generation processor in the B7. Overall, the LG OLED C5 has been a fantastic upgrade — even coming from an older but still excellent LG OLED. If you're upgrading from a previous-generation model or simply want top-tier picture quality, outstanding gaming performance, and strong daylight visibility with minimal reflections, the C5 is absolutely worth it.

Blown away!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replaced a 65 inch LG OLED with this beauty, and it was stunning out of the box. I just can't get over how crisp and beautiful the picture is under any type of lighting. I also have to say the OS upgrade is huge!! The menus are more user friendly and everything including downloads move at light speed. I cannot bribe the tv I just got at this price. Don't miss the current deal LG is running as it cannot be beat!!

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where this tv really shines is in the depth of its blacks. I tested it with a few space movies: 2001, Interstellar, Gravity. Wow, every time it pans to the stars, I am floored. I didn't like the stutter, but LG has Tru Motion built in which fixes all those problems. Overall, great tv.

Beautiful TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the LG OLED77C5PUA to replace a smaller LED set, and the difference is immediately obvious. The 77-inch OLED panel delivers incredible contrast, with deep blacks and vibrant colors that make movies and sports look truly cinematic. HDR content is bright with excellent detail in both shadows and highlights, and motion handling has been very smooth for fast-paced games and live sports. The TV's design is clean and minimal, with thin bezels that help it disappear into the wall. Overall, the OLED77C5PUA is a fantastic centerpiece for a living room home theater, combining top-tier picture quality with strong gaming features and a sleek design.

Best Purchase This Year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG 77” C5 OLED evo AI, and after a few weeks of use, I can confidently say it's one of the best TVs I've ever owned. The picture quality is the first thing that grabbed me. Colors look incredibly vibrant, and the blacks are truly pitch-black. HDR movies pop off the screen, and even regular HD channels look sharper thanks to the AI processing, which genuinely makes older content look cleaner and more detailed. Gaming on this TV is a dream. With all four HDMI 2.1 ports and ultra-low input lag, my PS5 and Xbox Series X feel more responsive than ever. Fast motion stays smooth, and the clarity during action scenes is impressive. The design is sleek and modern, and even though the TV is huge, it doesn't feel bulky. WebOS is quick, easy to use, and switching between apps is instant. The only downside is the built-in speakers—they're fine, but a soundbar makes a big difference. Overall, the LG C5 has transformed my movie nights and gaming sessions. It's definitely a premium TV, but if you're looking for an upgrade that delivers stunning quality, this one is worth every penny.

Solid 65" TV choice

I've had an older 55" version of this TV and it's been a rock solid TV with excellent picture quality. So when it came time to replace another brand TV, after doing research, it was a slam dunk to get another LG OLED for my family room. Very durable screen, easy to use interface, and I appreciate the very attractive design of the product from the side, it's so thin compared to most others.

Great TV for bright rooms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display delivers impressively vibrant colors, maintaining excellent picture quality even in brightly lit environments. LG's Magic Remote, with its built-in pointer functionality, adds notable convenience to everyday navigation. The panel itself is remarkably slim, lending a premium aesthetic. Audio performance, however, leaves room for improvement, and fully powering down the TV requires more than a single button press. Still, considering its overall performance and feature set, it represents strong value for the price.

Excellent Daily Driver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are precisely two complaints that I can give my LG 77 C5 OLED television. The first is that is that it's too thin. I feel that the fragility of the thin design is not worth the future hassle if I ever need to move it from its current location. However, that is not a problem whatsoever with how the television functions and it functions extremely well. I have been using an LG 65 B8 OLED for six years and felt it was time to step up and really give my home theater a true theater feel, with the larger screen. So far, the new television easily matches the excellent picture quality of that B8, which was a calibrated display, without needing professional calibration. I'm sure professional calibration would make the C5 look even better, but the built in Filmmaker Mode made it very easy to slip into use without hours of fine tuning. The first films I watched on it looked fantastic and I only needed to mess with a couple of settings to capture that look. I can't tell you how the speakers in this television sound. I don't use my television's speakers, as I have a dedicated sound system. I did have to figure out ARC for the first time in order to get the most out of this new television's features with my gaming setup and I appreciate how well it works with passthrough. I assume the speakers may be another downside to anyone expecting an all-in-one package, but televisions as a whole have not had excellent speakers built-in for years, so that isn't a knock against this television, but does go back to the way televisions keep getting thinner. The second complaint that I have is of the new magic remote. I understand minimizing many of the functions, but the lack of a mute button or a play and pause button for people using the built-in media apps is disappointing. I am the type of person who prefers having dedicated buttons for my functions rather than going through menus. It's not a major deal, but using my previous remote was less responsive than the new one, so I'll stick with the new one. As a whole, this television is everything i expected and more and I would fully recommend it.
