I bought the LG OLED 55C54LA a month ago. The tv does have an excellent picture. I'm still trying to connect sky and not keen on the AI which is included, you do have a choice, decided I didn't need this, although others may prefer to have it. Overall I feel that I have definitely made the right choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV as I had a LG EdgeLed one and wanted an OLED one. Dark, colors, angle of vision are great. This TV is brighter than my previous one ! When you remove the ECO mode, brightness goes high and you have a good contrast. I am mainly using PLEX with it, so a drawback is that the DTS HD is not supported with the TV. Thanks to the Wifi 6, I can send my BLURAY without compression and keep the best resolution and debit. RF45 is only limited to 100 MBits, not a 1GBIts which is not really great... Also if you have a ARC sound bard (i have a LG one), sometimes the TV does not start it properly and does not use the ARC mode...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from a 7-year old LG OLED 65 B series and stayed with LG due to having no issues with the last one. Increased size to 77" this time and it's perfect. Very little needed changing to the brightness, colour or contrast to have a great viewing image across all platforms and resolutions. Due to the size it's better to have 1080 or above. 4K content streaming from Netflix or Amazon Prime looks absolutely amazing.

The sound quality is phenomenal for TV speakers, but the picture quality is what makes this such a good purchase. Once you manage to get the settings correct (brightness, turning off energy saving features etc) the picture quality really is second to none. Any 4K UHD content looks so clear, bright and vibrant, with colours really standing out and the contrast of true blacks can never be beaten by a standard LED panel.
