Stunning OLED once you disable Energy Saving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OLED77C5PUA delivers incredible picture quality, deep blacks, and excellent HDR once it's set up correctly. Out of the box it can look dim because “Energy Saving Auto” is enabled — turn that off and the panel becomes much brighter. Movies in HDR and Dolby Vision look amazing, and gaming at 4K 120Hz/144Hz is smooth with almost zero input lag. Not the brightest TV for very sunny rooms, but overall one of the best OLEDs for both movies and gaming.

Great new features and performance!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a long time fan of LG OLED technology. The 77" format provides an excellent viewing experience...especially for zooming in on shows that are cropped horizontally (old TV format) or vertically (movie panoramic view). The LG remote control keeps getting better and more intuitive...tactile volume switch lever that allows quick mute/unmute, quick buttons to streaming, etc. Now my TV is truly a home theater.

Finally Pulled The Trigger & SO Happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've long been eyeing the LG OLED line but have previously ended up with another brand until now. Finally pulled the trigger after seeing the TV in person and talking to a coworker who had a fantastic experience. This TV is the centerpiece for our new family room and I'm so excited to watch sports games and family movie night for many years to come!

First OLED, glad I made the switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having the TV for over a month now I can say it's one of the best purchases I have made in a very long time. If you're considering upgrading to and OLED screen for the first time like I was it's well worth the cost. I knew the difference in quality would be noticeable but it really has improved my viewing experience.

Stunning TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 77 inch LG C5 is unreal. I use it constantly for movies and gaming, and it handles both perfectly. The blacks are deep, the colors pop, and the 144Hz support makes gaming feel incredibly smooth. At this size, it's basically a movie theater in my living room. Highly recommend if you want the best of both worlds. Pros: Stunning picture, great for gaming, huge screen. Cons: Sound is a bit weak, so get a soundbar.

Awesome TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's just get straight to the point: the LG C5 is exactly what you expect from LG's mid-range OLED—which is to say, it's brilliant. If you're upgrading from an older LED or even a few-year-old OLED, you'll notice the difference immediately. That perfect, inky black level that only OLED can deliver is as stunning as ever, but LG has clearly kept pushing the brightness. While it's not quite the sun-gun that the high-end G5 is, the C5 is definitely bright enough to make HDR content truly pop, even in a moderately lit room. The picture quality is simply beautiful. Colors are rich and accurate, and thanks to the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor, motion handling is incredibly smooth. Watching a 4K movie in Filmmaker Mode (with Dolby Vision, naturally) feels like getting a private screening. The sense of depth and contrast is just unbeatable at this price point. Where the C5 truly shines is for gamers. With four full HDMI 2.1 ports, 144Hz VRR support, G-Sync, and an absurdly fast 0.1ms response time, this thing is future-proofed for the fastest PC and console gaming. If you own an Xbox Series X and want to take advantage of Dolby Vision Gaming, the C5 is a no-brainer. Everything is crisp, tear-free, and buttery smooth. Now for the few gripes. Firstly, if you're getting the smaller 42-inch or 48-inch models, you lose the full Brightness Booster technology and the anti-glare screen found in the 55-inch and up versions. That's a real shame for desktop users or those with smaller, brighter rooms. Secondly, the new remote design feels like a step backward. It's slimmer, but they moved the dedicated mute button to a long press on the volume rocker, which is just annoying when you need silence right now. Finally, while the WebOS smart platform is comprehensive, the push toward more AI features and a few intrusive home screen ads is a distraction on a premium television. You can disable the ads, thankfully, but it shouldn's be a thing in the first place. The Verdict: The LG C5 is the sweet spot in the OLED market. It delivers flagship picture quality and unmatched gaming performance. If you can stretch your budget for the 55-inch or larger size to get the full brightness boost, this is a TV that will absolutely dominate your living room entertainment for years to come.

Streets ahead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model after some research, and are so pleased with it. it is streets ahead of our previous LCD TV. The colours and depth of the blacks and resolution are so vibrant, they're almost unrealistic. Our viewing experience is made all the better with the enhanced brightness of the LED panel and the brilliant software backing it all up

Very happy with my new LG C5 77 inch TV!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5 77 inch is my first OLED and I have not been disappointed. The picture quality is what I would expect from an OLED TV, bright colors and amazing blacks! The 77 inch size is perfect for our basement. The sound from the TV isn't the best but who buys an OLED TV for great sound. I plan to upgrade our sound to a 5.1.2 system anyway so I am not bothered by it. All in all, a great purchase which I hope our family can enjoy for years to come
