The 77" screen completely changes movie nights – blacks are truly black, colors are rich without looking fake, and HDR content really pops. The newer OLED evo panel with Brightness Booster / “Bright Room Ready” holds up surprisingly well in my bright living room, which was my biggest concern going in. For gaming, this TV is a beast: 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, support for up to 4K/144Hz with VRR and ALLM, and super low input lag. My PS5/PC games look incredibly smooth, and the TV automatically switches into the right game mode. webOS is snappy, apps like Netflix/Disney+/Prime are built in, and the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor keeps everything feeling fast while also doing excellent upscaling on 1080p content. The picture quality is incredible — the colors are rich, the contrast is perfect, and the black levels are truly pitch-black. Movies look cinematic, sports are smooth, and gaming on this TV is next-level. The 120–144Hz support and HDMI 2.1 ports make it perfect for next-gen consoles and PC gaming. The design is sleek and modern, and despite being a 77-inch screen, it looks amazingly thin on the wall. The a9 AI Processor really does a great job upscaling older content, and webOS is fast, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Even the sound is better than I expected for built-in speakers, though I paired it with a soundbar for the full experience. Overall, this TV is a fantastic upgrade and genuinely feels premium in every way. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase — highly recommended!

The blacks are very deep, it looks beautiful. The detail allows you to see all the make up used on shows and movies. Somehow the tv changed the audio quality of our speakers. My family noticed the changes right away. No regrets with the purchase.

The 77" format provides an excellent viewing experience...especially for zooming in on shows that are cropped horizontally (old TV format) or vertically (movie panoramic view). The LG remote control keeps getting better and more intuitive...tactile volume switch lever that allows quick mute/unmute, quick buttons to streaming, etc. Now my TV is truly a home theater.

My interface is webOS, and I try to keep things quick for you. Apps load fast, and the Magic Remote makes it easy to jump around without feeling lost in menus. Gamers usually like me because I support 4K at 120 Hz, have very low input lag, and work smoothly with the latest consoles. My speakers do the job for regular TV, though I admit I sound better paired with a good soundbar. I am thin, light, and look sharp on the wall or a stand. Overall, I take pride in delivering strong performance, simple usability, and a large cinematic screen that feels good for movies, shows, and games. The AI enhanced image and audio are pretty cool features. Viewing from sharp angles is still great, and both in well lit and dim environment, no regrets!

I first turned on antenna TV and watched some of my favorite older shows and the picture was good on all of them. Even with low quality input content the upscaled picture was nice. I even got to watch one of my favorite Christmas movies on an LG channel. I haven't touched any settings yet and I'm still getting used to the remote (I'm looking for a universal replacement to have a second option). But do far, I like the LG C5 77".
