After 5 years of amazing quality and no issues with burn-in we jumped at the chance to add a 77 inch C5 to our collection. The CX was jaw dropping then but somehow LG just keeps getting better and better. Many don't realize that this breakthrough in technology and price was only possible due to the decades of relentless investment by LG into figuring out how to mass produce OLED TVs at an affordable price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV a couple days before Halloween 2025. I had a 55 inch OLED TV from LG. It was the best TV I’ve ever owned. So when it came time to upgrade, I carefully weighed my options. I wanted a bigger TV, but I also wanted it to still be thin and light and have the best picture quality. So naturally another larger OLED from LG was the best and really the only option. 77 inches was where I ended up anything larger than the price starts to get atmospheric. I was originally going to get the B5 model and had been mulling it over for the last nine months or so. Finally, this deal appeared on one of my websites for this year‘s model C5. So not only was it an upgrade from the B5, but it was also this year‘s model. I immediately jumped once I found out it came with an extra sound bar and wall mount. Let me tell you this TV is gorgeous. Silky blacks with outstanding colors and brightness. The Evo panel means you’re getting better brightness than a normal OLED TV. Color accuracy is almost perfect. 120 Hz standard refresh rate is great for any in all TV viewing. 144 Hz refresh rate is perfect for games I play on my PS5 Pro. Especially FPS for every little bit of movement in the distance can be seen when you have a higher refresh rate. It’s almost an unfair advantage when gaming online if you have a better larger tv. And this is simply one of the best for that if not the best. I’m thrilled with this purchase. My last two TVs have been by LG, and I’ve had absolutely no issues. I assume my experience will be the same with this TV.

The picture quality is just super clean and natural, with deep blacks and realistic colors without oversaturation. Out of the box it already looked good, and after a bit of tweaking it’s become amazing for everything — movies, shows, sports, all of it just looks perfect and the size makes it feel pretty cinematic at home. For gaming, though, it really shines. Input lag feels very low, and once Game Mode is on, everything just responds instantly on PS5/PC. 4K at high refresh rates, VRR, and those HDMI 2.1 ports make it easy to plug in multiple devices and not think about it again. HDR games look great too — bright highlights, detailed dark areas, and no weird smearing or ghosting in fast scenes. If you’re into gaming and also want something that’s just solid for everyday watching, this has been a amazing upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just set up my LG C5 77" yesterday, upgrading from a 50" TV, and I'm genuinely blown away. Going from 50" to 77" is a massive jump. At first, I thought it might be too big, but after a few hours, I can't imagine going back. Plugged in PS5 and played FIFA and The Last of Us to test it out. FIFA looks incredibly smooth - the grass textures, player kits, and stadium details are so crisp. The 120/144Hz really shows during fast camera pans. The Last of Us is where this TV really shines. The colors are phenomenal - the overgrown environments, lighting through broken windows, character details in cutscenes... it's like playing a different game. The OLED blacks make dark scenes actually atmospheric instead of washed out. Watched some movies last night and the picture quality is stunning. The color depth and HDR content really pop. Details I never noticed before are crystal clear. I'm already thrilled with this purchase. If you're considering the upgrade to OLED and this size, don't hesitate. The picture quality for both gaming and movies is absolutely worth it.

I have mine in a large bright room and it is true that it is bright room ready. I enjoy the new magic remote with the new AI assistant! If you are thinking about getting this vs a QLED tv, it is worth the money!

The picture is incredibly sharp, with the kind of deep blacks and rich contrast that make movies and games look almost surreal, and the brightness is strong enough to give HDR content real punch without blowing out the details. Off-angle viewing is great too, which is a lifesaver if your couch setup isn’t perfectly centered. The sound is surprisingly full for built-in speakers, though most people buying a TV this nice will probably still pair it with a soundbar. The only real downsides are the usual OLED quirks — reflections in bright rooms and a remote that feels a little more fiddly than it needs to be. It’s a big, heavy TV, so setting it up isn’t exactly a one-person job, but once it’s in place, it’s genuinely impressive for the price. Overall, it’s a fantastic pick if you’re after a huge, high-end screen without jumping into the crazy-expensive flagship tier.

The blacks are true and the contrast amazing. Also I’ve accidentally left things on the screen for days and haven’t had any burn in, to the point that I wonder if it’s a myth. Just incredible tvs all around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded our living room TV to this unit from an older 55” OLED from another manufacturer. Even though I was already used to OLED displays, this TV blew me away. The contrast, colors, and motion handling are all phenomenal. I appreciate the on board OS allows you to limit advertisements almost completely. The only drawback is the internal speaker quality is not the greatest. However, that is usually never the case for any TV in my experience. We use a soundbar and have no issues at all.

Scenes with pitch black do not have any backlight glow. The TV is bright, colors are vivid, and the contrast is excellent . . . 5 Stars!!!!
