Excellent TV larger than life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After living with the LG 65-inch OLED for a few weeks, it's hard to imagine going back to a standard LED screen. If you are looking for a true "cinema at home" experience, this is the gold standard. The LG 65" OLED is an investment, but for anyone who loves movies, high-end gaming, or prestige TV, it is absolutely worth it. It's not just a TV; it's an upgrade to your entire home entertainment experience.

Brilliant upgrade that was well worth the cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this from my nearly 10-year-old OLED55C6V and it was an even bigger upgrade than I had expected! The picture looks so vivid and crisp, whilst the new interface is easy to move around. Of course, being OLED the 4K picture is detailed, bright and the darks black, so all content just looks better. Despite all that, the biggest upgrade of all for me has actually been with gaming, as the 120hz makes games like Battlefield 6 feel so smooth and was the most obvious of improvements. I also found it is much better energy efficiency wise and it's good to see an advancement in the protection of the screen. Highly recommended.

LG OLED....simply the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a Sony Bravia LED TV that I had been happy with for many years. We need another TV for a different room and I was tempted to stay with the Sony brand but I decided I would try the LG OLED and WOW what a great decision that was! The LG OLED just blows the Sony LED tv away in all departments, colour, brightness, contrast, sound, resolution...everything is significantly better on the LG OLED. My partner even agrees that this TV is amazing; we sit down as a family to watch movies and we are blown away by it. So happy with our purchase. We are looking forward to many happy years of viewing :-)

Absolutely blown away, worth every penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and so happy I did. The brightness on this thing is seriously impressive, even in my living room with the afternoon sun pouring in, the picture holds it's own without looking washed out. The colours are rich and punchy without feeling overdone, and the contrast is where this OLED really earns its stripes. Blacks are properly black whether the curtrains are drawn or not in the room, not that dark grey you get on cheaper panels, which makes a massive difference when you're watching a tense thriller with lots of dark scenes. The 4K resolution is razor sharp, and honestly, gaming on it is something else entirely. As for viewing angles, I've watched films from pretty much every corner of the room and the picture barely shifts at all. Proper cinema quality without leaving the house.

Great TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 65-inch LG C5 OLED TV delivers superb picture quality, with deep blacks, bright and vibrant colours, and excellent HDR performance that really stands out in films and TV. It's also fantastic for gaming, thanks to HDMI 2.1, 4K at 120Hz, and very low input lag - ideal for my Xbox Series X. The design is sleek and minimal, as you'd expect from LG. The only real downsides are average built-in sound and a slightly fiddly remote, but these are minor.

Big and great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I was concerned that I had chosen a TV that was too large but the picture is so good I now love watching all programs in 77". My only issues are that the centre roller button on the remote is hard to use with long nails, and the 'vivid' setting is so bright it's almost painful to watch. Other settings are good though.

Our first OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV 6 weeks ago and we are really pleased. We paid a little more for an OLED rather than a standard LCD (LED) and it was more than worth the small amount extra. It is our first OLED and the picture is sharper, the colours brighter, the blacks deeper and, in 4K, it is sublime! Thanks to Olivia at Richer Sounds for the recommendation!

OLED with excellent Contrast and Colour

I have had this TV for a month and the picture quality is very good and clarity is outstanding. The black lever is really good and the brightness is no issues. There is little reflection but my TV does not get hit by direct sunlight. The side angle picture does not degrade. Sound is good but I use a soundbar for better surround sound. The operating system is good but can be slow or sluggish whilst watching something. This TV is much better than my previous led TV.

OLED65C55LA a step up from OLED65A55

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace our previous LG OLED as unfortunately a single 1mm line of pixels (top to bottom) appeared on our 4.5 year old TV which wrote the screen off OLED65A55xx. Just unlucky I guess. This new C55 is a step up with regards to picture quality, functionality, gaming capability (120Hz for XBox) and AI functionality, although we only use 'Filmmaker Mode' for all TV viewing settings. We have a LG soundbar with rear speakers to get the most of Dolby Vision and Atmos where possible, so can't comment on the sound quality.
