Best TV I have purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment I switch it on, you're hit with inky, cinematic blacks that make every scene feel like it's unfolding in a darkened theatre rather than your living room. Colours pop, they glow with a richness that feels incredible. Whether it's a neon-lit cityscape or a sun-drenched nature documentary, the picture has a depth that pulls you in. Motion is buttery smooth, making fast-paced action and sports feel crisp. And thanks to OLED's pixel-level lighting, contrast is jaw-dropping. Bright highlights sit perfectly alongside deep shadows without losing detail on either end. Design, it's pure minimalism: razor-thin, elegant, and quietly premium. Smart features are good, with apps loading quickly and navigation feeling effortless. Add in impressive sound (for a flat panel, at least).

HAS ALL THE FEATURES YOU COULD WANT ON A TV 48/50

i BOUGHT THIS TV ABOUT A MONTH AGO AFTER MY PREVIOUS OLED TV GAVE UP THE GHOST. AFTER MINIMAL ADJUSTMENTS TO THE PICTURE SETTINGS I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW THE PICTURE QUALITY HAS IMPROVED. AUDIO IS PROVIDED VIA THE OPTICAL CONNECTION TO MY SURROUND SYSTEM AND AGAIN THE IMPROVEMENT IS UNBELIEVABLE ESPECIALLY ON DOBLY DIGITAL VIEWINGS. WELL DONE LG ANOTHER GREAT OFFERING. ANOTHER GREAT TV AT ANOTHER GREAT PRICE.

Looks lovely, pity about the awful remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks amazing, everything the internet said it would be. The sound is terrible but I hear that is normal with modern TVs. The menu is annoying. The remote is very badly designed and having an 'AI 'button is tedious bandwagon jumping. But the screen is so good you just have to put up with all the nonsense. Just remember to save extra for the soundbar!

Another beautiful TV from LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this TV a month ago and was a bit concerned that it might be a bit too big but it's been absolutely brilliant. The image is incredible. The brightness is a huge improvement over my last LG OLED and it looks gorgeous up on our lounge wall.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good, the quality is excellent compared to the previous LG TV bought 12 years ago. Everything is easy to access and the quality is superb. Have to say not quite so good when watching older programmes and the quality really shows how it has progressed from the 1990's and earlier.

Smart Looks, Beautiful Picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is fantastic! It has a clear sound tat one can tweet to ones hearing, it has a superb CLEAR and SHARP picture that is much better then the Samsung 55inch TV we had thrown in the trash as it was constantly resetting itself when in use. The OLED TV is just beautiful to watch if one tunes into a 4K broadcast. Thank You LG Team!

Very Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this after seeing it on display in the shop. Our old LED TV seemed fine but after seeing this in the flesh it was such a difference. The colours and crispness are so noticeable, especially if you watch things with dark spaces. We have watched a couple of Star Wars films and it looked amazing.

LG OLED TV

Purchased from Richer Sounds Solihull 11 February 2025. Excellent service. Excellent product. Delighted with the quality of the picture and definition. The contrast and definition is streets ahead of our old television. The colours are vivid and the blacks a deep solid colour giving us a new viewing experience. The sound is excellent too. Well worth the money.

Massive Upgrade – Genuinely Impressed Every Time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG OLED C55 recently, and I can honestly say it's one of the best upgrades I've made at home. The picture quality is what really blew me away. The blacks are genuinely black, and the colours really pop without looking overdone. Watching films in the evening is on another level now, especially darker scenes where you can actually see all the detail instead of everything blending together. I was a bit concerned about brightness as my room gets quite a bit of daylight, but it's handled that better than I expected. During the day it's still bright and clear, and at night it really comes into its own. I mostly use Filmmaker Mode and just left the brightness set higher so I don't have to keep changing settings, and it just works. Everything I've watched so far—Netflix, live TV, and a few YouTube videos—looks sharp and smooth. Even older content seems to get a nice boost from the upscaling. The design is another thing I really like. It's incredibly thin and looks clean and modern in the room without drawing too much attention to itself. Sound-wise, it's perfectly fine for everyday viewing, especially for dialogue, but you can tell a good soundbar would take it up a notch. That's probably the next thing on my list. The interface is straightforward and quick to navigate, which is all I really want—no lag, no messing about trying to find apps. Overall, I'm really impressed with it. It just does everything well without any fuss, and every time I sit down to watch something, I notice the difference. Definitely worth it.

Good TV but with some limit with the RJ 45

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV as I had a LG EdgeLed one and wanted an OLED one. Dark, colors, angle of vision are great. This TV is brighter than my previous one ! When you remove the ECO mode, brightness goes high and you have a good contrast. I am mainly using PLEX with it, so a drawback is that the DTS HD is not supported with the TV. Thanks to the Wifi 6, I can send my BLURAY without compression and keep the best resolution and debit. RF45 is only limited to 100 MBits, not a 1GBIts which is not really great... Also if you have a ARC sound bard (i have a LG one), sometimes the TV does not start it properly and does not use the ARC mode...
