Display is very sharp

Pros: 1. Display is very sharp and colors pop out. 2. Light weight and easy to install. So far loving it. Cons: 1. Wall mount option Angie did not come thru' for me. Using the TV stand instead. 2. Volume goes up during ads. No mute button on Magic Remote - we have to bring down the volume to "0" for a mute.

A Whole New Perspective!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Revisiting Stranger Things on the OLED77C5PUA was a revelation. On my old TV, the Upside Down was just a muddy grey blur, but this screen brought it to life with perfect, inky blacks and terrifying detail. The 77-inch OLED is a powerhouse, with vibrant colors and smooth motion that make movies and gaming look stunning.

Terrible remote, no setting to fix

The remote is genuinely terrible. It constantly activates a very ugly and cumbersome pointer. I thought upon setting up the TV that I could easily go into settings and disable it, but no, I discover that it is a permanent built in feature that cannot be disabled. I do further research and find that this has been a problem for years, with people begging for another option and LG ignoring them. For a premium OLED TV, that is honestly unacceptable, the TV should be easy to use out of the box and not feel like it is actively fighting against you as you try to navigate content and settings. It may be a solvable issue using third party hardware, but due to the fact that the TV is very annoying and difficult to use without additional purchases and doesn't give a tiny toggle in the settings to disable “magic pointer” forever (while loading up the TV with bloat and software that the user will never want to use, such as an AI chatbot), I am not able to give this TV higher than one star. Hopefully, if enough people speak out, LG will listen and the TV will be usable out of the box.

As amazing as ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third C-series LG OLED TV. Once I got my first I knew I could never go back and compared to the other OLED's on the market this is best one there is! Perfect for gaming and amazing for movies. Everyone is always impressed when they come over to watch movies or play games.

LG OLED C5 Stunning Picture with Great Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen quality on the 83-inch LG OLED C5 is outstanding. OLED truly shines here—deep blacks, excellent contrast, and rich, accurate colors. Dolby Vision content looks especially impressive. Shows like Stranger Things look incredible, with dark scenes retaining detail while highlights really pop. I already own a 77-inch LG OLED C3, so this comparison comes from real-world use. Even though the size difference between 77 inches and 83 inches doesn't seem large on paper, it is very noticeable in practice. Installed in a dedicated media room, the 83-inch screen feels significantly more immersive and delivers a true home-theater experience. Another pleasant surprise is the sound quality. For a TV, it's much better than expected—clear dialogue, decent bass, and a fuller soundstage compared to most flat-panel TVs. It's good enough that you don't immediately feel the need for a soundbar. The new webOS UI feels smooth, modern, and responsive. Navigation is intuitive, apps load quickly, and the overall experience feels polished. Overall, the LG OLED C5 is an excellent upgrade, especially if you're coming from a 77-inch OLED. Exceptional picture quality, surprisingly strong built-in audio, and a refined user experience make it a fantastic choice for a media room.

Great OLED Tv!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG OLED evo C5 77-inch delivers stunning picture quality with perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible contrast. The Alpha 9 Gen8 processor makes everything look sharp, especially in Dolby Vision content. Gaming is fantastic with 144Hz support, low input lag, and smooth motion, perfect for PS5. webOS is fast and easy to use with the magic remote. Highly recommended for movies and gaming!

LG 77" C5 OLED – My Everyday Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm the kind of viewer who bounces between live sports, Netflix dramas, YouTube, old movies, and long gaming sessions on PS5 and Switch. After a month with the 77-inch LG C5, it's become my do-it-all champ. **Picture: Perfect. Inky blacks make night games and dark shows look incredible, colors are rich but never cartoonish, and motion is buttery smooth, whether it's a fast Premier League match or a 120 fps shooter. HDR movies (Dolby Vision) look stunning, and even regular cable looks sharper than it has any right to. **Gaming: It is ridiculously good, 4K/120 Hz, VRR, ALLM, and almost zero lag. I went from “pretty good” to “I can actually compete online” the day I plugged in the PS5. **Sound: This was the surprise. The built-in 40 W speakers with AI Sound Pro are crisp, voices are crystal-clear (no more subtitles for British shows!), and there's decent bass for explosions and stadium crowds. It's easily the best TV audio I've ever had out of the box. I still added a small soundbar for late-night movie sessions, but 80 % of the time I don't need anything extra. **Daily use: webOS is lightning-fast, the Magic Remote pointer is addictive, and switching between apps, cable, and consoles takes seconds. *** One small note: in a super-bright sun-filled room, it's good, not amazing, but turn the lights down or close the blinds and it's unbeatable. *** /// Verdict: 5/5 for anyone who watches a bit of everything and games. Best all-rounder TV I've ever owned, and the sound actually lives up to the picture for once. Go for it. ///

GREAT TV ESPECIALLY FOR A BRIGHT ROOM WITH WINDOWS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am sure this TV is great for dark rooms as well but extremely bright and colorful for a room with multiple windows. Scenes with pitch black do not have any backlight glow. The TV is bright, colors are vivid, and the contrast is excellent . . . 5 Stars!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just set up my LG C5 77" yesterday, upgrading from a 50" TV, and I'm genuinely blown away. Going from 50" to 77" is a massive jump. At first, I thought it might be too big, but after a few hours, I can't imagine going back. Plugged in PS5 and played FIFA and The Last of Us to test it out. FIFA looks incredibly smooth - the grass textures, player kits, and stadium details are so crisp. The 120/144Hz really shows during fast camera pans. The Last of Us is where this TV really shines. The colors are phenomenal - the overgrown environments, lighting through broken windows, character details in cutscenes... it's like playing a different game. The OLED blacks make dark scenes actually atmospheric instead of washed out. Watched some movies last night and the picture quality is stunning. The color depth and HDR content really pop. Details I never noticed before are crystal clear. I'm already thrilled with this purchase. If you're considering the upgrade to OLED and this size, don't hesitate. The picture quality for both gaming and movies is absolutely worth it.
