I bought this generator because of the Oct storm. We were out for four days (not again if I can help it). I had a transfer switch installed. I have two heaters (gas), refrigerator. hot water heater (gas) kitchen lights, dinette lights, bathroom lights, hallway lights and family room outlets hooked up to the transfer switch. No problem with all of it on at the same time. I run a line to the garage refrigerator. In the evening, I ran a line from my washer/dryer to the family room outlets. Again there was no problem. The generator is outside. I closed the garage door and the door to my house (there is no discernible noise from the generator) and after a while I forget I'm on generator power. It takes forever for this generator to run out of gasoline. I rated it five stars because (so far) there is nothing this generator has a problem carrying.

We purchased our generator just before hurricane Helene came through as our older generator of 20 years stopped working. The new unit worked fine for the week we were without power but started dripping some oil the last two days. After speaking to Generac and then taking it to an authorized repair dealer we were without the unit for almost six months due to no part available. Thankfully we didn't need the unit as we never lost power during that time but that is way too long to wait for a repair.

It is heavy and once you get the wheels on in the handles, it makes it a whole lot easier to move around, but you still know you're moving something because it is heavy. It works very nice. I really can't say how it's going to hold up. I can update that later, but it looks like it's made very well and at any time you have any problems I don't know what's going on. It has a one 800 number for you to call and they will help you out and I love that. It has a five year warranty And that it runs off of propane ,natural gas or gasoline. And this is the perfect time for us to have a generator with the electric going on and off with all the storms and everything. I am so happy with this.

Installed the Guardian 26kW whole house backup system and it is great. First time it came on there was a small flicker of our lights. I would not have even known it was running if not for the app. There is a certain comfort that brings - knowing we are well protected against utility outages! 5 Stars!!!

This will help save food in the fridge & can help keeping the house cool, if needed. At the very least charge devices so we can be in contact with family, if needed. It's not too loud, & super easy to set up. I've wanted a generator for so long so I'm so happy with this!!

Bought this almost a year ago, worked well, although I only had to use it the one time then. Power company trimmed all the trees over the lines last week, so I don't know if I will ever need it again. Glad to have the b/u though. I know it will work next time because it is a Generac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great item. It us loud but not horribly loud. We hooked it up to the propane tank which it started up immediately. Great handle that bends down for storage. Many plugs to be used. A great item to have in your home for emergency. Every home should have one.

I'm very impressed with this generator. After going without power last year for 5 days after hurricane Irma, I decided we needed a generator. After looking for months as to which one I wanted, I decided on the GP6500. It has the power I need in an emergency situation and is very quite compared to others I have experience using. Fired right up on the first pull and my girlfriend can start it also should I be out of town and the power goes out for an extended time period. Good value for the price and I like the dependability and Generac reputation.

We chose the 6500E over other models due to it's many positive reviews from multiple sites and its features for the price. I especially like the number of available 20 amp outlets plus the 20 foot power cord. I specifically wanted the electric start and the automatic voltage regulation, and the rubber outlet covers are a great addition! Cons: The set-up instruction card had several minor errors and omissions. For example - the set up instructions did not mention that the fuel line was disconnected at the shut-off valve and needed to be connected by the owner. Good thing I saw it during my initial inspection. Suggestions: An onboard voltage meter (and maybe a manual voltage adjustment) would be a great addition, so the output voltage can be monitored without needing a separate meter. And it would be nice to have an onboard power meter showing amperage draw. But, for the price this model is perfectly adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, the week we received our generator, the price dropped $50. Wish I had waited one more week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GP9500E Tri-Fuel Portable Generator is an absolute powerhouse! I needed a reliable backup power solution for my home, and this generator exceeded all expectations. The ability to run on gasoline, propane, **and** natural gas gives me incredible flexibility, especially during extended outages. The 9,500 starting watts (7,500 running watts) provide more than enough power to keep my essentials running smoothly, including the fridge, AC, and even power tools when needed. The electric start is a game-changer—no more struggling with pull cords! Plus, the runtime is impressive, especially on propane. Build quality is solid, and the noise level is reasonable for its size. Setup was straightforward, and the included wheels make it easy to move around. If you're looking for a dependable, versatile generator, the GP9500E is worth every penny. Highly recommend!"* --- **Key Features Highlighted:** ✅ **Tri-Fuel Capability** (Gas/Propane/Natural Gas) ✅ **Powerful Performance** (9,500W starting, 7,500W running) ✅ **Electric Start** + Quiet Operation ✅ **Portable & Durable**
