I am very satisfied with my purchase of my GP6500E generator. It was money well invested. The quality and performance of this Generac generator is great. The installation and startup directions were very easy to follow for someone like me that is not to keen on the mechanics of putting something together. The motor is not too noisy at all, we can barely hear that our generator is on at all when working. I will definitely recommend this product to all my family. I am getting ready to purchase a Generac Home Standby Generator in the next few months.

Purchased this Generac Generator, works great with RV, easy to move around. One thing all Generator owners NEED to remember is that if your Generator breaks down, Somebody has to Repair it. GENERAC Has Excellent Service and REPAIR. Generac is Nation Wide so finding repair service for Genrac is easy. Please Remember this folks. Service is Paramount. I'm very impressed with this generator. After going without power last year for 5 days after hurricane Irma, I decided we needed a generator. After looking for months as to which one I wanted, I decided on the GP6500. It has the power I need in an emergency situation and is very quite compared to others I have experience using. Fired right up on the first pull and my girlfriend can start it also should I be out of town and the power goes out for an extended time period. Good value for the price and I like the dependability and Generac reputation.

It is heavy and once you get the wheels on in the handles, it makes it a whole lot easier to move around, but you still know you’re moving something because it is heavy. It works very nice. I really can’t say how it’s going to hold up. I can update that later, but it looks like it’s made very well and at any time you have any problems I don’t know what’s going on. It has a one 800 number for you to call and they will help you out and I love that. It has a five year warranty And that it runs off of propane ,natural gas or gasoline. And this is the perfect time for us to have a generator with the electric going on and off with all the storms and everything. I am so happy with this.

This is just what we needed for a back up generator. We live in a very wooded rural area and power outages in the winter can be brutal when temps drop below minus 20. The GP6500 is perfect because it is portable and reliable. Now when we lose power during a winter storm we grab the generator out of the garage and plug it into the transfer switch and it keeps us and our house from freezing.

We've had bad storm blow through our area this year and power goes out easily. My husband hooked up the generac to our fridge and a few other household things and it may our time without power so much easier. It is not very loud and it's easily to move around. When our power came back on we brought it to our sons house so they could run things Everyone's benefits from this.

I have not used the generator in an actual power outage situation but when I ran a test it performed really well. I should have paid the difference and got an electric start but that was my mistake. It's a little loud but no more than expected. I believe it will meet my needs for a back-up during power outages.

Very heavy ( I think it’s more than 230 lbs). It has tires that need to be installed so it can be moved. The noise is not as loud as I was expecting. Has a lot of power. Runs on gasoline, propane and natural gas.
