I am a Finn so I have been to many saunas in Finland, electric, wood burning, smoke and I have to say I am impressed with the Lennon sauna. Assembly was easy, instructions logical, everything in the design was great and it looks beautiful. I stained it outside to add to weather proofing and to better match it with my house. Yesterday was time to test it. I was surprised how fast the sauna heated. I set it to 80C and it was plenty to give nice and crispy "löyly". I feel like a real Finn again!

I spent a lot of time shopping for a sauna when we were ready. Came across backyard discovery in my search and initially was skeptical, because there are a lot of companies that are "faceless" and once you buy the thing, you'll never get support again. I reached out and was pleasantly surprised to find people immediately available to help me, and also to find that this is a company that has been around a long time. Pulled the trigger on a REALLY well priced sauna. Showed up fast. I took my time building it, and everything went together super well. Especially happy with the included metal roof to protect the top from the elements. Heater is very nice, heats the sauna to 150 in like 15 mins right now. I oiled the entire thing on the exterior with paraffin oil, and did the benches too. We've been in it every night since I finished building it and we're very happy with the purchase, and with Backyard Discovery's service thus far.

Such a great sauna. The ability to turn on by app and fast heat up time are great features. A straightforward build - the instructions and app make it really easy to follow. It took me one full day with a friend. The wood is great quality and holds the heat really well. Highly recommend!

I’ll be honest, I wanted something that felt solid—not one of those flimsy kits—and the Lennon 2–4 Person Sauna delivered. The thick cedar construction makes it feel really sturdy, like it’s built to last, not something I’ll be replacing in a couple years. Once it heats up, it holds temp well and just feels like a quality setup. It also looks sharp. The modern, clean design and glass front give it a high-end feel without being over the top. It fits perfectly in the backyard and doesn’t look cheap at all. Overall, no regrets—solid build, great look, and does exactly what I wanted.

This sauna doesn't just work great, it looks gorgeous in the backyard. The wood finish is elegant and feels high-end, and it really makes our outdoor space look so nice. This sauna has become one of our favorite backyard features! The construction was easy and the thicker wood panels and quality craftsmanship are immediately noticeable. I purchased the 4-6 person Backyard Discovery Lennon Outdoor Cube Sauna and we couldn’t be happier. It has so many cool features and works great! The inside has plenty of room to stand up with two benches to sit down. The wood feels much more premium than other saunas in this price range. I am excited about how fast it warms up, which is great for spontaneous sauna sessions. Great investment!

Ordered a Backyard Discovery 4 to 6 person sauna along with paid assembly from Sam's Club. I called the assembly contractor Eddie Perden to schedule an appointment and he told me to wait until the product was delivered. I requested to be scheduled anyway because this was the day before the scheduled delivery. Product was delivered as scheduled. I was not able to secure an appointment until after my husband %26 I called customer service %26 complained about the contractor. Contractor calls me; apologizes %26 schedules appointment. We do not hear from him when it's the day before the appointment. I reach out %26 he says he is not able to make it %26 reschedules us for the following day. Day of the appointment, we do not get any communication from the contractor. I text and request an ETA. I get one for 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, %26 then I get a message at 11:30 that he's delayed. Now our appointment time is 1:00 to 1:30 PM. We have requested a new assembly contractor 2x because of this guy's lack of professionalism. Never again. We have paid for everything %26 we feel as if our time is not important. We delayed a trip due to this scheduling chaos %26 our boxes have been exposed to the weather for 2 weeks while waiting for Eddie to get his act together.See less

Very poorly built sauna. The heater trips every time. I have to reset it. The one bench with no back rest sits at the bottom instead of half way up. Three internet connection doesn't work. The timer button on the LCD screen is broken. If it rains, the door warps soo bad that it doesn't fully close. No matter how many times I call support, and rearrange the rocks it still trips.
