The S55H music system has a soundbar and a subwoofer. But the bass is only reproduced by the subwoofer. If the subwoofer is turned off, the soundbar has no bass, only mids and highs. I also own an S45H (without a subwoofer). According to the documentation, the S55H and S45H are exactly the same, the only difference is in the subwoofers. The S45H plays bass very well. Why is this sound quality not preserved in the S55H soundbar body? Sometimes, for example, in the evening, I don't want to have strong bass tones from the subwoofer, because they disturb my family and neighbors. Is it a defect in my piece or is it a bug/feature? (maybe firmware or internal construction without a bass reflex)?

I would constantly rewind just to try and make out what was said in a movie. Now with this sound bar and using its voice enhancement I can clearly hear everything. I'm using eArc hdmi. But you have auxiliary and optical if needed. Also a usb port if you want to play from your music library. Lastly it is a big Bluetooth speaker! Really cool. Unfortunately it wouldn't fit under my TCL TV because of the led light under the TV. So I put it behind the TV and it's just fine. It does come with wall mounts if that is your thing. And yes you can dim the led on top of the sound bar. Very pleased with this purchase.

I love the size of this sound bar, it fits under the tv nicely and doesn’t stand out too much. It connected great to my TCL Roku tv. It has so many great features including Bluetooth. It makes for a great movie night! I love using this sound bar while watching day to day tv shows also though! It really brings in a great surround sound experience to my living room! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sound bar from TCL and I have been testing it for a couple of weeks and I can say that it is of very good quality, the design is beautiful, minimalist and modern, the sound quality is incredible, it sounds very good, it has several special options of sound that adapt to any need, it is very easy to connect and install it, it has everything you need to install it easily and quickly, it is totally worth the price for the quality,It has very good features like automatic room calibration, Bluetooth, AI sonic, sound modes. Its an excellent product bt TCL.

I bought another vendor soundbar but couldn't get the bluetooth to work. I got the TCL and it worked perfectly right out of the box, no hard setup. I used HDMI/ARC to TV, and the base connects by bluetooth automatically. Sounds fantastic!!! In sum: Great price for such high quality sound, super easy to setup and use with a TCL TV. I love it! I am looking now to buy a second one :-).

It's light weight but still big enough to be used as a proper sound bar. Its easy to connect with the tv . Nothing to complain. Very enjoyable!
