[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Audubon Park Sunflower Hearts Wild Bird Food No Shell is a high quality seed that birds love. I put this out in my yard and compared it to my normal bird seed. I could not believe the results. The birds flocked to the sunflower seeds. They keep coming back for more. No pieces, just whole seeds. This is the real stuff. Audubon seemed to please even the most finicky birds. We had a variety of sparrows, crows, and even the squirrels.

The main advantage of having the pre-shelled hearts like this is there's no mounds of seed shells in your yard. I personally don't mind it, but the birds certainly prefer the pre-shelled over the regular sunflower seeds. The pre-shelled feeder was emptied well before the regular sunflower seeds. If you have any birdwatchers in your family or circle of friends, you can't go wrong with this product. The birds will thank you.

I ordered this for one of my new feeders and within 24 hours we had cardinals come and eat!! They must really love this seed because we have had other feeders out but not had cardinals. We are now a loyal customer!

I like that the bag has a handle but no zip or closure on the bag so you will have to put in an air tight container. No big deal, I have a old trash can with tight fitting lid. I have several bird feeders and usually purchase the black oil sunflower seeds but they leave a mess. All the husk but this seeds has none! My birds seem to like it.

The next day, all I have are empty shells in the feeder. When I saw they had sunflower seeds already shelled, I thought the birds would love it. Apparently not, I filled my feeder yesterday and went back to refill it today. There was no need to refill. I’m really baffled by this. I wish I knew what they didn’t want the easier sunflower seeds but they don’t.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a MASSIVE 15 lb bag of Sunflower Seeds. No (messy) shells to clean up, and the birds love it. In fact, I tried a handful... and I LOVE 'em too. IF they were processed these seeds with some salt, this would be a huge party bag. Had problems getting pictures of skittish wild birds at my feeder, so I took a big handful to the park for some friendly ducks and a couple of pictures - they DEFINITELY enjoyed the nutritious treat and absolutely devoured them. Then stood there quacking and wanting MORE. I'll bring them more this winter, when food gets a little scarce.

Birds can get their fill easily without leaving a mess all around the ground. We have seen Cardinals, Blue Jays, Grackles , Sparrows, Nuthatches all this week enjoying the sunflower hearts. The squirrels are trying to get in on the fun too but the birds are so plentiful they don't have a chance. Excellent quality feed for all of the wild birds . I have some small ball feeders and the seeds stay inside well and don't fall through the holes unless the birds initiate it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time getting hulled sunflower seeds. I was amazed at the quality. When I first opened the bag, they were so fresh I could smell the aroma and had to use all my willpower not to eat some myself. All my favorite birds love these - especially the cardinals and blue jays. I really enjoy watching them at the feeder. I do take the feeder in at night so I don’t attract other critters. The next morning the birds are lined up and waiting for me to put it out again. The bag is very sturdy and has a handle to carry it home. To open it, just pull the string at the end and it will unravel and fully open the bag. I store the bag in a food-safe plastic storage container (the one made for pet food) to keep the seeds fresh and protect them from insects. These are 100% sunflower seeds, but for those with food allergies, be aware that these could contain peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, fish or soy. I highly recommend these seeds to fellow bird watchers. These exceeded my expectations.
