My wife loved the old House Blend version on the silver bag, the new version on the brown bag is awful. It seems that Starbucks has changed the blend formula. Don't buy this new blend!

My local club was out of the MM variety I love so I thought I would give this a try. In a word, it is horrible. Upon opening the bag, I was greeted with what I can only describe as a stench. The smell was not even remotely similar to anything coffee. I have tried repeatedly to make a decent cup of coffee with this crap but it is absolutely impossible. I ended up just throwing it away to get the smell out of my house. I wouldn't wish this nastiness on my worst enemy.

This coffee was rated as a medium roast. It was not a medium roast. I gifted it to a friend that thinks that he likes burnt coffee. Definitely burnt! I just looked it at, very burnt and oily and gave it away. Sad. This is the only coffee we like to buy, we enjoy grinding it ourselves every morning for our French press , it makes that perfect cup of Joe to start the day off good. For several months now we haven't been able to find it in any of our sams clubs, also sold out online. Please bring it back!!!!

Any half-decent coffee bean company display a Roasting Date and an Expiration Date. All flavored whole bean packages sold by Starbucks display ONLY the Expiration Date. Roasting date is super important because after 2 months (3 months for less picky consumers) the beans start losing their essence. Starbucks do not care about quality, I guess. Sell, sell, sell is their motto. Shame!

Maybe we’ve just gotten spoiled to the rich, delicious flavor of Peet’s coffee but this coffee was just average. I’d much rather have Peet’s coffee or Starbucks Italian or French roast. I gave away probably 3/4 of this bag because it’s just not that great.

Medium roast is smooth with great taste.

Beans were not consistent. Flavor was odd.

I used to use the members mark breakfast blend but they don’t carry any more.

What’s not to love! Starbucks coffee takes the cake.
