I was able to organize my craft items, Christmas items , picture albums and still have space left over. These are lightweight. Lids fit perfectly. I would definitely suggest getting clear containers. I noticed the cap on this container doesn't have the locking latch and the lid is a bit thinner and the looking mechanism isn't so great if you plan to move the box often.
