Purchased 2 of these fans for our covered screen porch and they work great. The faceted globe is nice and the guard adds a beach look. Hope they hold up to the salt air.

The two Ocala fans purchased are a beautiful addition to our covered patio. Using Feit dimmable LED bulbs, the clear globes provide the bright light we sought to replace an old fan with opaque globe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is beautiful, I love the look, it circulates the air perfectly, and it runs super quiet. The lighting is very bright, it lights up the entire room. We had to buy a longer pole due to our slanted ceiling, but it still works wonderfully. The only complaint we have is that it is slightly challenging to attach the light box to the fan motor. This was a bit of a struggle, but something I really liked, was that the glass globe screws into the fan, there are no tiny screws to bother with like most globes on most fans and lights. If it’s possible, assembling the light box and the fan before it is attached to the ceiling, would be much easier.

Help! I've always believed in, loved, and---depended on Hunter brand fans, ceiling & otherwise! I've had my Ocala installed since Spring of 2020, I use my screen enclosed carport as a patio and the fan keeps it pleasant as summer arrives. The fan is working great, but my lights have either expired, and in need of a change out of bulbs.....or, the fixture itself is malfunctioning. I def fervently hope that it's the former, not---the latter. I've misplaced my manual, although amazingly.....I still have the original box. I live alone, and am on limited income, but even so, I try to make smart choices of items I've coveted over time----and this fan was a longgggg time coming. I am keeping my fingers crossed to very tight, and am hoping that the slight vibration(s) a ceiling endures via its spinning blades, might possibly be why I encountered this problem, last month, January 2021. I had my Ocala installed by a licensed contractor, and this problem of the light bulb has only just cropped up!! I've actually not logged much time using and enjoying my fan, at this point, and I truly can't afford repairs on it, if the light fixture has stopped working. I did climb up via my standalone ladder, but didn't have a screwdriver with me. Is it not possible to simply twist turn the globe itself, in order to remove it, so that I can change out the bulb(s) ?? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ocala Outdoor fan with LED light is absolutely beautiful! It’s perfect for the outdoor patio, and matches my wicker furniture! It puts out a great amount of air and is quiet! The light is bright and also dims for time that you do not need or want much light! The installation was absolutely a breeze, it took me about 10 minutes to install! I absolutely love it!!!

We had 2 of these fans installed on our back porch and could not be happier! They replaced 2 original fans the builder had installed (yuck), and the installation was pretty easy. The fans are so pretty, and whoever designed the lighting was spot on! We can enjoy the back porch so much more now that the lighting is so much better!! Thank you Hunter Fan, I highly recommend these fans!!

Very disappointed with assembly. There was not enough room to put on the light kit. Hunters that I have had in the past have gone together quickly and easily, but not this one. I would not buy this style again.

We just had this fan installed in our covered lanai with an 8ft ceiling. The fan looks great and operates well. The big downside is when pulling the chains to turn the fan/light off or on, the entire fan sways a good 3 inches. This swaying makes us feel like the fan is ready to fall from the ceiling! The installer said there is no way to prevent the swaying as the bracket is plastic. We also don't like how the chains rub the side of the light housing. It is only a matter of time for the finish to wear off.
