My brother lives in Florida and on the East end of Long Island, NY. He is an avid boating enthusiast in both locations. Being out on the water intensifies the sun’s UV rays. I gave this shirt to my brother as a Birthday gift in order reduce the potential of skin cancer.

At 70+ years of age, this is the perfect shirt for me. It's cut for casual which I like. The UV protection is great since I have battled skin cancer on my arms too. It's unique design brings compliments from friends too. Sam's Club was too kind also - I bought a size too big but they said "keep it" and we'll send another your size. You can't get better service than that. So thank you Sam Walton for creating a retail empire that remembers the little customers and treats them well.

The style, comfort, and value of these shirts is unmatched! My husband has one in most every color now as he uses them for work. He can look professional and still be comfortable and have ease of movement throughout the day - and because they’re affordable, he’s not afraid to tackle whatever comes up because we know they can be replaced without significant loss. For me, the fact that they hold up well in the wash and dry quickly are also a plus.

If the sizing had been correct, I would have given this shirt a Five star. However, the sizing is off. Purchased a medium & it was huge!!! Had to return. I would not order this unless it could be tried-on first. Have purchased in the past & did not have this issue. Otherwise, it's a terrific buy.

I have owned 2 of these shirts and use them for fishing trips when i need a lightweight shirt on hot days but don't want to get sunburned. Last month i picked up 2 of these in small for my wife for doing outdoor lawn and garden work. She loves them. cool and light. Perfect for her when it's warm and sunny outside.

Comes out of the washer so wrinkled. Can't get the wrinkles out.Very disappointing.

We have worn these shirts on dozens of trips to National Parks, including deserts in Utah and Arizona. We have not had to use any sunscreen lotions because these shirts do the job. We have never gotten sunburned while wearing one. They are also lightweight for packing and provide coverage to avoid bug bites. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy the great outdoors.

These are GREAT summertime shirts. Excellent for keeping the hot southwest high desert sunshine off your skin. I wear the long sleeve version everyday April thru September farming. They can easily be passed off as a nice dress shirt when needed, yet function much better than a dress shirt. (I have even cheated and put on a short sleeve version with a suit and no one was the wiser). The style, cut, colors, and fabric keep changing over the years but they have all been great at keeping the sun off. If you like the color, BUY IT NOW, who knows when you'll see that color again. I have purchased these for many years. The first ones I ever got were very very bright colors!! Orange, yellow, green, and blue (I could be spotted from a long way away). Today, they offer a bold red one that is a nice bright color. While I mostly wear drab earth tones in lighter shades farming. I love the bright ones for vending at the farmers markets. I can be pointed out by someone from way over there, lol. If I could make a suggestion to the Sam's Club buyers....I say, make a run of these in BRIGHT BOLD COLOR's again!!! and I will stock up. I would suggest florescent (safety) orange and green/yellow; as well as popsicle orange, bright yellow, bright green, bright bold blue, purple, pink, etc. Also, make another run of Easter pastel colors (including lavender), at any time of year, and use the smooth soft silky feeling material again, like you've done at different times over the years.

I normally wear either a Large or an Extra Large. I decided to order an XL just because I didn't want it to fit tight. It arrived and I decided to try the Large instead... the large is plenty big - so if you are borderline L or XL - get an L. These look very sharp, are light weight, and super comfortable. This is a great bargain!

Shirt fits fine, lost some color first wash. They are not wrikl free and have to be ironed. They are not the same quality as other habit shirts .
