[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like the beds. I made them 3x6. The instructions say that if they are constructed into a 2 ft wide configuration a support rod is required. The 2' support rod is included. After filling my 3x6 beds and letting the soil compact it was very clear that a support rod should be required for this size too. All the sides were bowed out! We had to remove half the fill and reinforce the sides. It was very frustrating and would have been very easy to prevent during construction with the inclusion of a longer support bar. Since it wasn't "required" for this size configuration I assumed the beds would be strong enough to support the weight of the fill. I was wrong.

Great new product design with the Novel line. Blending 1925’s farmhouse with 2025; it’s farmhouse-chic as my wife would say. The Pearl is also a nice added touch of modernism. Give us more modern sharp, pops of colors; like cobalt, gloss black, cherry, or perhaps a dark purple? 🙏

Love my new novel garden beds. Incredibly easy to put together. So modern in design. I use one to grow abundant flowers for my garden and the other for veggies & herbs. I purchsed them when they first launched. Have since purchased a cover for my veggie garden and hit has held up like fort in harsh east coast hardy winter. Must have.

We have a space near the porch that is simply un-tillable. Rocks, clay and tree roots. I decided to use a raised bed to put in a perennial border. Initially we were going to build our own planter box with cedar planks, but that was as expensive as the Vego bed and we’d still have to spend the time and effort to build it. So we found the Vego beds to be a reasonable alternative. My husband and I unboxed and put together our Vego planter as a two by eight foot raised bed. I placed it on top of the unsuitable dirt and filled the bed with new soil. I planted Lithodora and Rock Cress and hope they like their new home. It looks great!

Good product. Takes time to assemble, but is not difficult. Holds quite a bit of soil, so expect to spend as much on dirt as you did for the container. The finished product looks clean and can be moved around (empty) very easily until you find the right spot. The challenge I have is the sun! Tomato and bean leaves are roasting in the sun (12 hours a day in Southern Ohio), so a sun screen or a way to filter is needed, but this is not the container's fault. I'd recommend the container to any beginner or expert.

Why oh why is there SO MUCH TAPE and extraneous stickers on the outer box? We are told to use the cardboard to line the bottom but of course we can''t have plastics in the soil. Look at Amazon: they use paper based tape and it is easy to get off. I alsoI bought the 32* version some months ago. What a project for a 70 year old. . Same problem removing all the awful tape.

Versatility, beauty, and function. We set these up in the 5 foot square configuration to maximize square footage. Planted all companion plants and have easy access to all plants around the raised beds. They are beautiful and provide plenty of space for all our veggies. Will not disappoint.

A friend saw mine and ordered hers the next morning! My veggies are thriving and I am looking forward to harvest my own delicious tomatoes cucumbers and zucchini!

I decided to replace my 5-year-old cedar wood garden beds with Vego beds since the cedar wood became infested with termites from locally purchased soil. With the metal construction of the Vego beds, I won’t have the same problem and hope they will last a very long time. I also purchased bracing rods to reinforce the beds, as I’m adding compost at the bottom and garden soil on top. I like that these beds are slightly taller than my original 12-inch cedar beds

17" 9 in 1 used as part of a larger assemblage of beds. We've filled and planted them and were happy with how well they look and how they hold up during the process. Only thing to note is that the sides did bow a little. Could have been from over saturating the soil as we were filling the beds to ensure no settling or it could be due to the flat area as the corrugated section did not seem to bow. Either way, we are quite happy with the outcome.
