I decided that I wanted to eat more grains and beans, so I decided to try it. I know I could do all this on the stove, but I like gadgets that work. It made perfect quinoa and short grain brown rice. For best results pay close attention to the startup menu when starting a cycle, your selections matter. I look forward to trying beans and other grains. The low end capacity works for me. I can see them making a large capacity model in the future…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely make life much easier. Innovative way to cook rice, grains without worry about the amount of water to add in the pot. Rice is perfectly cooked. There are options to cook your rice or grains to be soft or regular or firm which i really like! I like my rice on the firmer side. It’s a little small . I can only cook around 3-4 cups of rice at once. It’s very quick. For Jasmine as well as short grain white rice take around 35 mins to cook. Also can keep rice warm for a long time without changing the color of rice. Very easy to clean. Nice design! Love the touchscreen with sound. I wish this have option to make Scorched rice.

In theory, this should be a fantastic device. Unfortunately there is no way to manually select any of the useful cook settings. Cook times are only in 5 minute increments and cannot be adjusted. If it undercooks the rice, there are no options to extend the cook time. You cannot adjust the water dispensed or dispense more. After months of trying to get it to do even one batch of rice correctly, we have given up. I contacted support and they are not able to issue a refund or even credit or exchange so I am stuck with a product that is useless. Maybe I can donate to someone that will have better luck than us. Best to get this at a store where you can return it quickly and easily once you realize it doesn't work properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker. I was raised with rice. We eat rice at least twice a day: lunch and dinner. Sometimes we eat rice for breakfast too. I have been using so many different rice cookers, but KitchenAid is a different level. I have never had an automatic rice cooker before. The pan is non-stick, it comes with a streamer too. It's so easy to clean. I don't have to worry about measuring water. I just need to choose a set up: rice or grain then choose how I want my rice to be cooked. It's just amazing. Great cooking performance. Imagine I have a kitchen full of KitchenAid. That would be awesome. Love KitchenAid!

I love that it cooks perfect rice and quinoa every time. Before receiving this, I would either overcook or undercook rice consistently, but this turns out perfect every time. The capacity’s great, I can make a small or large amount. It’s also really easy to clean. I’m impressed with being able to also cook eggs and potatoes in it too. It’s a great appliance to have!

I have had this for a while and finally opened up the box. Why did I wait so long? Lack of counter space. But oh this is now my favorite appliance. So far I've just used the steamer, and made corn on the cob, broccoli, and a bunch of hard boiled eggs. This thing is MAGIC.

I’ve been looking in to getting a new one after my trusty rice cooker stopped working and this one is by far the best one I’ve seen. Its touch screen is easy to navigate and responsive. The black body is sleek and resistant to fingerprints and the layout of the options are easy to to figure out. You can cook beans, grains, rice and steam vegetables. It works like a dream. Fill the pot with your food of choice, add water in the separate reservoir and cook. I love how easy it is to clean too. And the nonstick pot is truly nonstick. Can’t wait to try all the features!!!
