This takes up hardly any counter space and is aesthetically pleasing as well. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I love KitchenAid every counter top appliance I have bought has lasted for years and many more to come.

It has minimum requirements for dry ingredients that exceed normal eating consumption (e.g. you need 4 oz of grits which is like 1 cup+ and even with 3 people who like grits that's excessive. ) The water It dispenses is off, and I have to adjust, basically I'm doing the same thing I would anyway - make it myself. The custom cycle doesn't work it won't allow you to delay it for later cooking. It's just not very helpful.

You add rice and it decides how much water to add to make perfect rice. It makes as much or as little rice as you want. It's easy to clean and looks nice and will last long.

It excels at cooking jasmine rice- turning out perfectly every time. The cooker is incredibly easy to use, with intuitive settings that make the process a breeze. One of my favorite features is its ability to prevent overfilling. If you accidently add too much grains, the cooker alerts you, ensuring tou never go over the limit. It also checks the evenness of the grain distribution, notifying you if things aren’t quite right, which helps in consistent cooking. However, when cooking beans, make sure to always soak them first! Without soaking, the beans may not cook thoroughly, but once soaked the cooker handles them well. Overall, this rice/grain cooker is a fantastic and user friendly appliance, especially for those who like to set and leave when cooking and if you love perfectly cooked rice every time. The helpful alerts for overfilling and uneven grains make it a foolproof option.

Just add your food and the water to the max line and it Will automatically add the amount of water it takes to cook. First I made beans. It took 2 hours and they were really soft. You could stop it earlier if you don’t want them as soft. It also cooked rice perfectly in about 25 minutes. Can’t wait to cook something new in it.
