Love being able to adjust sizing of this. I currently have it in our heated garage and have started several seeds in Michigan. If you're thinking about going with Vego- do it! Worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This elevated “garden” is so easy to put together the suggestions for soil on the website and other tips for growing is very helpful. A friend saw mine and ordered hers the next morning! My veggies are thriving and I am looking forward to harvest my own delicious tomatoes cucumbers and zucchini!

We have a space near the porch that is simply un-tillable. Rocks, clay and tree roots. I decided to use a raised bed to put in a perennial border. Initially we were going to build our own planter box with cedar planks, but that was as expensive as the Vego bed and we'd still have to spend the time and effort to build it. So we found the Vego beds to be a reasonable alternative. My husband and I unboxed and put together our Vego planter as a two by eight foot raised bed. I placed it on top of the unsuitable dirt and filled the bed with new soil. I planted Lithodora and Rock Cress and hope they like their new home. It looks great!

After moving to a new house, decided it was time to use a nice raised bed set up instead of my usual in-ground raised beds of the past. We chose the Novel Series in Modern Gray because it matched the Gray and Light Blue color of the house and looks great next to the house. Each bed took me and the kids around an hour to completely put together. Very well made and packaged nicely. Nothing was missing, or damaged. We set up two of the 9 in 1 beds. Filled the bottom half with some already rotting logs and sticks before filling the rest with our homemade soil mix. One thing I did when assembling was to install one bolt in the bottom and another in the top. I did this all the way around the bed, then made sure it was level and started putting the rest of the bolts in. Once everything was connected and square, we then went around and tightened all of the bolts. Just stated planting them, can't wait to see how they do this year. Plan is to order a other 6 over the next few years for a total of 8 beds. Four are 6. 5x3. 5 and Four are 3. 5x5. Might need to see of I can order just the corner pieces, since I will have enough extra straight pieces to make another bed.

Love my new novel garden beds. Incredibly easy to put together. So modern in design. I use one to grow abundant flowers for my garden and the other for veggies & herbs. I purchsed them when they first launched. Have since purchased a cover for my veggie garden and hit has held up like fort in harsh east coast hardy winter. Must have.

This was the first Vego raised bed I ever purchased but the fourth raised bed purchased this year. Clearly , I saved the best for last. Two of the other ones were metal and were fine but they just do not compare to the sturdiness and quality of the Vego. I am now a Vego convert. Despite a vow not to order any more beds, after being so impressed with my initial Vego bed, I just ordered anotherone to prepare for next year. As justifiction, I used the knowledge that the cheap little fir based bed that was purchased "to see if it would work" (note: it won't - I will be surprised if it doesn't collapse before October)will have to be replaced.

I decided to replace my 5-year-old cedar wood garden beds with Vego beds since the cedar wood became infested with termites from locally purchased soil. With the metal construction of the Vego beds, I won't have the same problem and hope they will last a very long time. I also purchased bracing rods to reinforce the beds, as I'm adding compost at the bottom and garden soil on top. I like that these beds are slightly taller than my original 12-inch cedar beds

The beds are filled and only time will tell what I'll ultimately think about them. First impressions though, they feel pretty sturdy but they scratch incredibly easily. We had to be very careful putting them together. I worry what they'll look like after a season's use. Also, I'm very bummed that the cross brace does not work with the 3. 5x6. 5 configuration we chose. I really hope they won't bow! For the premium price tag, I was really surprised by these issues.

If I would have known prior to ordering I might have gone with a different company. These scratch VERY EASILY! I was the one who put them together and I was very careful and they still got scratches. Maybe mine were defective? The tiniest contact with the other metal scratched it. They took to long to put together I wasn't going to box them back up. crossing my fingers I don't have issues down the road because of it. I'm not sure how they'll hold up next to weed eater, so I might have to spend more money to change how I was going to place the beds. i was going to put them on the grass, now I might need to buy weed fabric or figure something else out so they don't get even more scratched. I saw another review with the same issue in this color so maybe avoid the white!!
