[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the  Samsung 37" Odyssey G7 G75F for a few weeks now, and cannot sing its praises enough. I have owned 4k displays, curved displays, and high refresh rate displays in the past, but this is my first monitor that combines the three. I'm not sure I could go back, as it is an absolute joy to use both in productivity (data analysis and media editing) as well as for gaming/media consumption. I was a bit concerned about the size of the monitor for my desk, but the curve makes it much more natural to keep everything in my field of vision. The AMD FreeSync premium pro performs wonderfully in keeping motion fluid and without screen tearing, as I don't have a GPU capable of driving 4k 165hz in most games without tweaking the settings down more than I'd like. I didn't see the specs listed online anywhere, but my computer is reporting the freesync is capable of handling 48-165hz which is a solid range. The HDR performance is solid, although I wish they were able to include VESA DisplayHDR 1000/1400.  While using it as a computer monitor HDR600 is honestly more than enough, but sitting farther away from the screen on a couch using it for media the extra brightness and contrast would have been nice. Overall, I could not recommend this monitor enough to anyone who was on the market for a 4k display capable of excelling both for work and play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor was a great addition to my PC setup. The monitor had been in use for over a week and I have had a great experience so far. The monitor weighs in on the light end of the spectrum being realtor to its size. The screen has bright color contrast and show the dark depth of what you are viewing. I have used the monitor to complete work tasks and bring able to display multiples programs at once with the screen space was monumental. When watching movies the refresh rate eliminated any lag in resources so the entire movie was pleasing. The only cons I have with the monitor is the actual size. The monitor was bulkier than I expected. To play sound you will need to add an external speaker setup. The setup however was fairly simple with only 3 attachments which was point and click. I would recommend this monitor to my closest friends.

It's got enough resolution to display many windows simultaneously while still being able to get a significant amount of info in each window. The colors are vivid and bright, and the blacks are completely dark. It came with both an HDMI and a DisplayPort cable for video, along with a USB cable to link its USB port to the computer, and its power cable. The base is solid, has a nice weight to it, and feels super sturdy. I've only been using it for a few days, but I have no complaints so far. The button and menu controls are on the underside in the center of the panel, and are simple and intuitive to use. The post that supports the monitor also has a rubber strap that is affixed to the post on one end and can be detached on the other end that can be used for cable management. It articulates on all three axes (pitch, tilt, and yaw), and has a pretty significant amount of movement to position it vertically at whatever height is comfortable.

The 1000R curve is a true wrap around immersion which is awesome. The 165Hz refresh + VRR support, the deep contrast and vibrant colors is amazing to see on the monitor, the design with customizable back glow is really cool. Some things I will note as well is that the HDR doesn’t have the big wow factor as some of the higher end panels, and the curve takes a little adjusting for some tasks but once you start gaming on it, it’s pretty elite and definitely built for gamers who want more of the bolder visuals. I would say it’s a perfect gift for the gamers in your life and for your your own self enjoyment!

I do a bit of gaming, and it’s such a smooth and fun experience compared to what I had before. Even for everyday work, it’s super comfortable to use and easy on the eyes during long hours. The size also makes multitasking a lot easier, which has been a big plus. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Great HDR, response rate, and refresh rate for gaming shows off anything my 5090 can throw at it, and also fantastic usable area for productivity when I'm diving into data science projects. The include stand also has a nice and flat base, so that it doesn't block any desk space either, along with VESA mount options if I want to put it on an arm later. I'd been wanting something with a bit more space than my 32 inch, but most ultrawides lose usable vertical area compared to it, and also can be problematic in a number of games that don't have specific support for the non-standard aspect rations.

Samsung has definitely stepped up their game.Especially in the gaming industry with a 165 hertz refresh rate 1 ms response time with multiple hdmi ports to be able to hook up other screens. The screens resolution was bright no lag while playing a movie or a game being a 4k definitely packed a punch. 10/10 I would recommend it to anybody buying it with a curvature style screen compared to a flat screen. Even with the curve, it makes the gaming feel more real. Honestly i didn't think it'd be this good.Definitely worth the price.

It makes both gaming and works more immersive, especially with the smooth performance of AMD FreeSync.

It's an excellent monitor it doesn't have the HZ I would like. It's a VA monitor which is the little worse than like anything else. But they have come a long way with VA monitors. Overall for what I could afford I don't mind. Wish I could have got a wider one.
