I lay it down to give my dog a comfortable place to relax because the ground gets very hot. Afterward, I simply roll it up and store it because even though it's thick it's really not heavy at all.

It's a thicker turf but smooth and feels comfortable to stand /sit on. The only thing I can say negative about this is the size I received I wish it was bigger it's too small to really use for a patio.
