I lay it down to give my dog a comfortable place to relax because the ground gets very hot. Afterward, I simply roll it up and store it because even though it's thick it's really not heavy at all.

It’s a thicker turf but smooth and feels comfortable to stand /sit on. The only thing I can say negative about this is the size I received I wish it was bigger it’s too small to really use for a patio.

It is lush green with hints of tan that mimic grass roots. My sample was 4’x4’ that looks great on my deck. The rubber backing helps the turf stay in place with no slipping or shifting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oakmont Artificial Turf is a great product. I only wish the sample was bigger to really get a good feel for it. I decided to place it under my daughters slide so she would have somewhere nicer to land instead of our lumpy, hard, barely there grass. The installation was pretty easy and self explanatory. I dug the grass out where I wanted to place the piece of turf, and made sure it was level. I did not put any weed barrier down underneath it as the instructions state, and I wish I had. We did end up having a few weeds grow through. So that was definitely an error on my part. The turf has a great weight and durability to it. It looks just as nice weeks later as it did the day I laid it. I am really considering purchasing a full sized roll to go underneath the entire play set.
