This makes the 'Sonic' type ice my wife loves and plenty of it. Plugged it into a watt meter and after 210 hours of use it consumes approximately 0.71 KwH per day. In my area of the world that comes out to $3.50 per month to run it 24/7. I'm going to set a schedule so it doesn't run at night and see how that goes. Very interesting design that as the ice melts it melts back into the reservoir to be turned back into ice.Sound wise you can tell when it's running but if you're not listening for it you probably won't notice it.

Where to begin? The ice is perfect - in shape, consistency and chew (yes, I have ice chewers!) from kids drinks to adult beverages it's great. My husband especially likes the wifi capability and scheduling so that the ice is ready when we want it. Once it gets going it keeps the ice container full and much to our surprise there was still ice the next day in the bin. Can't wait to use it poolside under the cabana this summer!

I tried 2 other ice makers before I decided to try this one. What a difference a good quality product makes. It is quiet, has a large bin, an extra water reservoir and a great front panel. The lights dim, it always shows what is going on and it has an app! You can schedule it off and on whenever you want. But the best thing is the “good” ice. Easy to chew, makes drink colder, just the best!!

I have been buying bags of ice at Chick fil a for a while My husband surprised me on Christmas Day with this Ice Maker My entire family now is drinking more water since having this ice maker. We are extremely happy with it. Just a warning you do need space for it

The ice that this makes is great and quick, and have not had any issues so far. The only complaint I have is that when you tilt the drawer forward the drips always run down the front into the drip catcher outside, leaving water marks on the machine. I understand it is needed to collect the water that melts back in to the pool inside to be used again and not lost, but when opened these drip outside when tilted forward. It seems like they could improve this aspect in a future revision, but that is the only criticism I could think of. Overall, fantastic.

If you can stomach the price tag you cant beat it.. best ice at the house unless you spending about 2 grand for a professional machine that does the same ice. My only issue is I'd like a maintenance video on how to clean and deep clean this machine properly.

I Love ❤️ my Ice Maker! My ONLY complaint would be that the ice melts after time. It doesn’t stay cold enough to keep the container consistently full. Other then that. It’s all good. It sure saves me on buying bags of ice from Sonic every week. Lol.

This thing makes amazing nugget ice. We have had one for over a year now and use it pretty much every single day. We enjoy the ice so much that we ended up getting a second one for another location in the house. The only real downside to it is the excessive noise it makes. Under normal circumstances, it makes noise that is somewhat tolerable. When it goes to defrost (seems like almost daily) it gets really loud. If you don't mind the noise it is a great machine.

I mean, what can I say, an at home ice maker that makes the “good ice”, what’s not to love. Pros: makes ice much faster than I was anticipating and the extra side water container is great! Minor con: it’s admittedly larger/heavier than I was anticipating (although that’s my fault for not reading the description carefully). It ended up in our basement (wanted it in our bar area), but we’re still super happy with this purchase!

The nuggets are a cylinder, oblong shape (like the type found in commercial establishments)! The unit can support up to 24 pounds of ice daily and is easily refilled with water. The ice itself tastes clean and fresh thanks to the onboard filter. I am an ice chewer and simply adore this unit. My only complaint is the app; it never did sync with the unit.
