We had the ice maker for 2 weeks when it started to make horrible noises and quit making ice. Currently waiting on opal support to help rectify the situation.

Love the ice and it makes plenty of ice for good size parties. Just started making noise and died eventually after only 6 mos. Hopefully second one lasts longer as we recommended it to all of our friends and they bought them.

Packaged carefully, shipped quickly, easy set up, easy to do initial clean . Had ice within 25 minutes of plugging in. It is a hot with daughters friends. They just love the Sonic Ice .

Runs smoothly. Occasionally you'll hear some noise but not often. Definitely purchase the extra side water unit, makes filling the unit so much easier. Fits nicely on a countertop. Profile is low enough to sit under cabinets

Easy installation and makes ice quickly. The ice does not freeze into clumps but stays fresh and loose whether icemaker is on or off. We do not find the machine noisy.

We need more smart devices that can communicate on their own, like the Jetson's and this device is in there. It tells me what is going on while I'm away from the office, nowhere close to it. Amazing!

I absolutely love my ice maker. We casually thought about it for almost 2 years because of the price investment. Since the day we brought it home, we have not regretted it once because of the quality. 10/10 would recommend.

Well I love the machine but it was a bit confusing to me. Like, putting water in two places. I did everything asked of me for the water tank and it jus wasn't working correctly.

This is our second machine, this is the first ice maker since GE bought Opal though…and I must say- GE has done an OUTSTANDING job! No complaints at all. If you love ice, you will not regret this purchase.

We have had this for two months now and love it and use it all the time. It is a tad loud and takes up space but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Everyone who comes over is obsessed with it and I think of reasons to use ice!!
