Opal 2.0 with side tank

Sweet Ice Maker, Very quit machine, Love it It’s the best investment you can make, 5 Stars, Ice very very nice. Thank you for a well made ice maker. Worth every penny.

Makes lots of ice

Great ice maker and makes lots of ice. Sometimes it does not pull water from the extra reservoir and I have to add water to make ice. But overall it is a great icemaker and I am glad I bought it. It is pricey but worth it.

Delicious Ice

Instant nugget ice at the touch of a button. My Wife and kids love it especially my 4 year old because it's so small i don't have to break it in pieces

Best ice maker ever!!

I absolutely love this ice maker! it has been super handy. i don’t buy bags of ice anymore and it doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. its great for drinks or even just chewing it!!

Hard features. Confused with putting water in 2 pc

Well I love the machine but it was a bit confusing to me. Like, putting water in two places. I did everything asked of me for the water tank and it jus wasn’t working correctly.

Great Ice but VERY noisy

The ice that is produced is great and it makes a ton. But the unit is frequently "defrosting" which causes high pitched squeals to emanate from the machine. This is very annoying.

Opal Ice Maker 2.0

This is not a good product. I have had numerous issues with it. I use distilled water. From noises to not moving water. The process of getting anything done to resolve issues is rediculous. DO NOT waste your money.

We're sorry to hear about your icemaker not producing ice. We'd like to help out. When water isn't flowing from the side tank, this usually indicates an air bubble in the water line. We recommend checking that the hose is securely connected, you can also lift the unit 4 to 5 inches until you notice the water flowing. We do see that you have a case open with our support team. If you are still experiencing issues, we recommend continuing to work with us for a resolution.

Everything I dreamed!!!!

I love my ice maker!!! I have extremely sensitive teeth & this ice is soft & doesn’t bother them at all. Though it’s not as self cleaning as I expected its worth it! Makes ice extremely fast & the outside reservoir is top notch! Love it!

Great But....

Much quieter than Opal 1. But, every time I open the drawer to get ice it drips water terribly. My tray is always wet. I never had that problem with the old one. The ice bin is always wet. The old drawer was much easier to get the ice out of.

Finally Chic fil a ice at home!

I was so excited to find the ice maker that made nugget ice! The Opal 2.0 did not disappoint!! It is so easy to set up and use and the ice is incredible!! Best purchase I’ve made this year!
