It's quiet, makes ice well and keeps it cold, and it's very effortless. I use the side tank and fill up once a day and it continually makes ice with no issue.

The unit started up with no issues and has preformed well. It provides plenty of ice and does not seem to have any issues. It is bigger than I expected as we do use the side tank.

We love our new “sonic” ice maker. After a couple of rounds of getting used to the routine, it continues to provide enough ice for our family if 6. Highly recommend!

It's awesome because I have a medically challenged daughter who spend a lot of time in the children's hospital and she loves there hospital ice so this machine is awesome for her!!!!

Set up is a little long, but not bad. Only negative is that the machine says “add water” often even though I have the side tank. Other than that, the ice is great, and my family loves it.

Bought two months ago. We love this machine. The ice is amazing, just like “Sonic ice”. Others have complained about the loudness of this machine but unless you are standing right next to it, I don't even notice. It was the star of the last party!

Good product, ice falls from the back of the unit, gets stacked up in the back of the basket so the machine turns off before the bucket is full of ice because it doesn't evenly disperse around the whole bucket.

Love - love- love! I was one of the initial owners of the Opal when they first came out! Preorder! This baby is quieter- faster- and I can't imagine life without an Opal. Soft ice- easy set up - minimal space used on counter.

Love it! Never thought we would use this as much as we do. Plus the WiFi capabilities are a huge bonus, we have it programmed to have ice ready when we get home.

I am totally in love with my ice maker. The ice is just perfect… easy to chew and makes me want to drink lots of water each day which is so healthy . I especially like the app that allows me to schedule ice making tunes.
