I have been wanting one of these for years. Finally, broke down and bought one. Could be better!!! Love the features and best of all I have an unlimited supply of the best ice ever.

I had purchased an opal when they first came out by 1 build for the office. It got a lot of use! Now that GE has purchased the opal, it is even better.

Great ice maker. Love the nugget ice. The best. Quiet. This is our third Opal device. We were on board since GE dreamt it up!! Hoping the price goes down as time does on.

We really love this ice maker. It makes great ice, pretty quickly and in decent quantities. Much better than our fridge ice maker. The size fits nicely on our countertop.

We have had the ice maker for a month now. It's been working great. We just did our first cleaning and it was pretty easy. It can be a bit loud at times when making ice however it's not a deal breaker. Happy with our purchases.

I love my ice maker! My husband gave it to me as a gift with the optional side tank. I use it all day, every day! It keeps up with my needs and I haven't had any problems. I clean it once a month with vinegar. Love it!

After a few months of using this, we love it thus far. I think the instruction manual, especially for direction on cleaning is horrible but the machine itself is great.

We are water snobs and ice hogs. Absolutely love that this machine keeps ups with 6 adults and our ice habits. Honestly, only complaint is the frequency of cleaning. We use Reverse Osmosis system that removes all impurifications in the water.
