Great ice. When water is pulled from the side tank it's the noisiest thing i've ever heard. Nearly unbearable. It's a loud squealing and i'm about to trow the thing out the window.

This ice maker is everything I've always dreamed of! I love that it's not too big & doesn't take up that much counter space. The ice starts making right away which is awesome!!

This is a great machine, the ice always comes out perfect! I have wanted an ice maker for awhile but was a little worried about the cost vs quality! I am so glad we choose the GE Opal, it is worth it!

Love the ice and it makes plenty of ice for good size parties. Just started making noise and died eventually after only 6 mos. Hopefully second one lasts longer as we recommended it to all of our friends and they bought them.

This ice maker has become our default when our family wants any ice. The expansion tank makes it so much more convenient and the ice is always a perfect texture and consistency. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to use. Took serveral cleaning once I got machine for the ice to taste ok. Wish it came with cleaner solution. Quite and starts producting ice quickly.

Love it so far, makes great ice and looks terrific. Initially was a little worried about the noise level but it has quietened down and you only run it when you want ice anyway.

If you love the “good ice” then this 2.0 is the upgraded product for you! With convenience and simplicity in mind, I had this cleaned, running, and making ice in less than an hour. It's been a great discovery!

Love the little ice nuggets! The only issue I have had is that for some reason the water level falls too low and stops making ice after a while. I clean it and it works again.

This machine made me so happy until it didn't. Makes beautiful ice nuggets. Frequently having to clean water pouring from the machine makes it a bust….
