[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just opened this and so far it is making great ice. Maybe a little noisy but the ice nuggets make it all worthwhile. The nugget ice is perfect! I can't wait to pack my first cooler with this ice. I am guessing it will pack well and last! I have not tried th blue tooth App yet but I will.

I bought this for my wife as a Mother's Day gift. She loves it and we love it. The only reason for 4 stars versus 5 is due to the water level issues with the side tank. On multiple occasions the unit runs out of water and will not pull water from the side tank. I've been experimenting with different things to figure it out but this has been the only negative part so far.

I purchased this opal when my ice maker in the fridge broke down and it produced enough ice for a family of 5. My wife and I love chewing on the small nuggets it makes. We also use this to make smoothies which doesn't put a strain on the blender and it comes out really good.

I absolutely love this ice maker! I should own stock in Sonic as much ice that I bought from them. My sister and brother-in-love had bought a GE ice maker, so when I went and stayed a week, I knew i couldn't live without one,and it would pay for itself!

My expensive refrigerator not going to mention any names but it has a awesome tablet but NO ice so I had to purchase the GE Opal for our countertop so far we have had ice everyday no issues however to be fair with a month in I'll give updates 🤞🏾🙏🏾

At first I thought I had to send it back but reading everyone's tips and reviews, I had to wait a few days until it reached its full potential. Now it Makes soo much ice to the point where I don't know where to put it all! Makes the best ice in terms of size and ease. I also enjoy the Bluetooth connectivity so that I can make ice just by the reach of my phone and also put it on an ice making schedule so I don't always have to worry whether it's making enough ice for me throughout the day/night. Great product that I use daily!

I have only had the machine working for a week. Having a little trouble with cleaning light staying on all the time. Could not turn off the machine when defrosting light was on. I went to breaker in garage turned off ice maker that way. Past two days screaming sound coming from machine. After turning off breaker last night it has worked fine all day. Maybe by turning off power to ice maker it reset something. Get back to me in two weeks and I will Let you know if problems still exists

We LOVE our new GE Opal 2.0 Ice Maker!! It works as advertised and produces “the good ice”! It is wonderful as a portable i e maker, kinda wish there was an option to run a water line to it. But well worth the money! Still does “drip” and where we have it installed - we can't use the drip tray. But not a huge deal for us.

The Perfect family ice machine. Outperforms my built in refrigerator ice maker 10 to 1. Always dependable, quickly replaces the ice bin as soon as the ice is removed (be it a small or large amount) and east to install and clean! Makes perfect nugget ice each time!

Every time I had more than two people in the house, I found myself asking someone to bring ice. Finally, I decided to get this ice machine. Though I plan to have electricity added in my pantry this summer so I don't have to have the machine on the kitchen counter, for now we are using it on the counter. We love the ease of maintaining is and we love the ice.
