This was a Christmas gift to my husband but everybody who comes over prefers the nugget ice to the larger cubes out of the freezer. It fits perfectly under the upper cabinets without hitting anything. The side reservoir is easily accessible for refilling. The only downside to it is the noise. It is louder than our full size side by side refrigerator with a built in ice maker. Other than the noise, it has been great.

Alright, so this little thing has really been putting out, and this family of 4 keeps it busy. We have an open floor plan and it makes a little noise when its making ice, but so does this family of four. Every once in a while it sounds like the auger or conveyor may 'squeal' or something, but we got over that pretty quickly and just all laugh at it now or say, 'Use the Force'.

We loved it at first but then after multiple cleaning cycles after setting it up and then making a first batch of ice, we all tasted the ice and I noticed something in my mouth. Removed object and it was a metal shaving! I then stopped everyone from consuming the ice and then allowed the icemaker to finish making a complete batch of ice overnight. In the morning I dumped all of the ice and the side water reservoir. I went to empty the internal reservoir and notice 2 more metal shavings floating in the bottom! Works good. Goes through water fairly quickly. As much ice that we use, we have to fill up the side tank every couple of days. When scooping ice out of bin, there are water driplets that drop on the bottom tray which has to be wiped down. Overall, good ice maker!

The freeze comes to mind you get what you pay for… The instructions for a little foggy to set it up, but you just follow the diagrams and you're good. But I love having this on my counter because now I personally drink a lot more water like I should. There's nothing like it went up my travel cup with ice water and it blasting me all day and then I get home and I fill it up again. Well worth the money!

Great icemaker, the nugget ice is lovely, and the production rate is really good, too. Though I do wish they'd add a UV light inside the storage tank and ice bin too, more germicidal stuff never goes amiss, and it would cut down on how often I'd have to clean it.

I love this ice maker. Small ice that's easy to chew- my dog loves it and demands pieces when I'm refreshing my drink. Only downside is it became loud after a couple of months due to vibration. If I hold the sides of the maker it's as quiet as ever, but dang it makes a racket now.

The quality is poor. I've had it no more than 1 month and the defrost constantly comes on after only 2 drops of ice. I've descaled it and even bought the descale solution and to no avail. Terrible machine. It was a gift so I don't have the receipt for an exchange not knowing where they bought it.

I really loved this ice maker until this year. I bought this back in 2021 on sale and it ran great. Lots of people warned me, mostly chefs, that if it ever broke down it would need a complete replacement. Well mine wouldn't make ice anymore. We cleaned it every month, followed the manual and it just stopped working. We then did all the troubleshooting ourselves and still it would make mush and not ice. It's been sitting on my counter hoping I could find a GE tech but I can't get someone on the company's line. I would honestly find a much cheaper version to own because if these small appliances can't be repaired then at least buy something that's more affordable to replace. I go out of my way to disuade people from purchasing this appliance. It's just sad and a waste.

We are a household of five and our refrigerator ice maker never seemed to keep up with our family ice needs. We often found ourselves buying bagged ice, keeping the bought ice in a cooler in our kitchen, in order to have ice always available. With the purchase of this ice maker, the buying of additional ice has stopped. This ice maker is capable of supplying all of our daily ice needs. We enjoy the convenience of always having ice available. We also can and do save ice for later. Another feature we like is the ice size and shape. The ice quickly cools warm drinks. Also because of the ice size, our grandchildren like eating the ice. We often find ourselves providing them cups of just ice for them to enjoy. We have been and are very pleased with this product.
