Obsessed with my ice maker! Isn’t too loud and makes plenty of ice. I run it three different points throughout the day and it makes enough to keep me going through the day. I was a little concerned about dropping this much money on something frivolous, but it was well worth it.

Product arrived with a failure in the manufacturing of the water tank. They failed to glue the two halves together. Contacted support who told me I needed to return the entire product which is silly when only the external tank was a problem. Otherwise the ice maker works well. Our last opal only lasted 2.5 years so we will see how long this one last.

So far so good! Quite a few steps to set it up, but very clear instructions and not difficult at all. I’ve had it for a week. I love it. The only issue I’ve had is getting the side tank to properly provide water to the main unit but other than that it’s been great.

I have always wanted a nugget ice maker. So when my ice maker in my freezer broke for second time I researched ice makers and this one had the best reviews. It cost way more than the others, but definitely worth it! I love that I can turn it on and off with my phone. Also love love love the water container connected to the side.

We have enjoyed the ice maker but it sounds like a cat screeching. I have tried fixes online which work for a day and then start again. Big disappointment for the money spent. A year warranty is ridiculous when it’s a faulty product without the option of an extended warranty.

This is a great product. Easy to use, makes fantastic ice and looks great sitting on the counter. We love 'Sonic Ice'--if you've ever had a drink from the Sonic Food Chain, you know what I am talking about. The ice is soft and keeps drinks cold for a long time. It is a great addition to our kitchen and our friends love it.

One of my friends got one for Christmas and I fell in love with it, so for my birthday my husband got me one! Our friends and family call this our "boujie ice maker" but when they come over they all fill up their cups before they go home! It's the best ice and when I fix my 4yr old some drink she always tells me she wants the good ice!

We've been through 3 countertop ice makers. I decided to give this one a try, because I was tired of cheap ones that broke. Like a lot of people, i had an Add Water issue in the beginning. However, once I made sure the tank hose wasn't bent wrong, it worked perfectly. Makes the perfect ice for enjoying with your drink, or for making protein shakes, smoothies or other type drinks. Compared to our others, it is quiet (yes, some are some squeaks if you run it constantly for hours on end, but that is just from the process and you don't hear it unless it is completely quiet). It looks great in the kitchen and the lights add a pleasant effect at night. I highly recommend the product.

The ice maker works fine, but when you open the bin to get ice out, water leaks upon a black shiny piece of plastic. I wouldn't expect it to leak, but the way it is designed right now, I'm sure that there is no other way. Maybe a new design in the future.

My husband and I purchased this ice maker after using a family member's first generation machine several times during the holidays, family visits, etc. We like the water reservoir being on the side of this model and the more modernized appearance. As some other users have said, the cleaning process is a tad cumbersome, but not a deal breaker. The machine does make noise as others have disclosed. It is not obtrusive, but for on occasion as water flows through the drain tubes and again not a deal breaker. So far, we are very pleased with the purchase! It has been a hit!
