We purchased this for a spare master bedroom to provide a bit of air circulation because it's an upstairs corner room. This fandelier replaced a small chandelier. You'll need to use fan rated junction box to support the weight of this unit. The instructions both in print and online are pretty good. If you're a competent do-it-yourselfer, you can handle installing this on your own. I would recommend extending the antenna from the green control box down through the bottom of the ceiling trim. This way, the fan will communicate better with the remote control. (see photo) We have 9 ft. ceilings in our home and the size of this unit scales very nicely in the 14' x 14' bedroom we installed it in. It's not too big and doesn't overwhelm the room it's in. I think the unit is well built and packaged. Whether the electronics pass the test of time remains to be seen.

Absolutely love this fan. It comes across elegant but it’s a fan. Received a lot of compliments. It does wobble a little bit at the highest level but who puts a fan on at the highest level. I’m going to add just a tad of weight to the fans to see if it will settle the wobble. Easy to assemble. Must have if you want to step up your fan game!

Pictures don't do this light fixture justice! I'm not crazy about the looks of a fan but when you are in your 50s, it's a must at night. It turned out to be my favorite light fixture in the whole house! So elegant & organic!

This fan / light is a lovely addition to our bedroom. Clean pretty lines, almost silent three speed fan, light can either be bright or in dimmed setting. For our 8' ceiling, I additionally purchased the 2" rod option and used that to make it closer to ceiling. We are very. happy with this fan/light and recommend it.

Excellent fan, beautiful, quiet, and exactly as advertised!

I find the the Fandelier looks amazing in my space, my living room. The design and shape of it make the room look modern and classy. I find that the fan speed is good considering the setup and that it is a no-show fan. My only note, and the reason I don't give it a 5-star review is because I found that the installation leaves little space for a tighter setup. When the fan is in the highest speed it does shake a little, enough to be noticed, I tried to fix it but the way the installation requires the light to be place on the base makes it harder for the shaking to be avoided. Other than that, this light is amazing! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a classy and modern solution to a space that needs a ceiling fan.

Bought two of these light fixtures. My family really likes them and they look very nice in a bedroom. The quality is solid. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the remote is a little funny, you have to stand in exactly the right spot to get it to work. Even after putting new batteries in it this happens. But other than that, it’s a really good light fixture with fan.
