The gold trim makes these dishes really stand out. The plates and bowls are large and of very good quality. I love this set,and I can’t wait to use them again.

I decided to get the platinum trim and I'm glad I did (I thought my wife would want them to match the lights in our kitchen...it turns out your plates don't need to match your lights...I tried to be thoughtful haha). It's a very thin line around the edges so it's not overbearing at all and I think keeps them from looking too plain. All of the surfaces are very smooth and they look so fancy that I guess I have to upgrade my silverware now. Also it's worth mentioning that they are packaged very well. I was home when they were delivered and heard a loud noise at my front porch like something had been hit. I walked to the front door and saw the delivery driver walking away and realized the noise was him setting it down very non-gently. When I opened it up everything was in perfect condition since every plate was individually boxed in thick cardboard, that was a great surprise to not have broken pieces everywhere!

The raised edges on the plates look elegant and are practical for keeping food in place. The bowls are pretty large, so they looked slightly empty even with a hearty portion of food in them. Overall would recommend.

The bowls are heavy duty and perfect for Ramen, or cereal (as my husband used them for his breakfast). I adore how the plates have a little lip on the which helps prevent spillage. It certainly comes in handy with two overactive dogs following you to the table. The plain white pattern makes it easy to match silverware, napkins, tablecloths, and centerpieces without worry. I am in love with my new dinnerware set.

I love these dishes! I just ordered an extra set. The glaze has no bubbles or imperfections. The dishes are sturdy, and I love the edges. Food doesn’t slide off the plate. The set can be dressed up for a holiday or casual everyday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like most about this dinnerware set is the simple design of white dishes with a thin platinum line around the edges. Couple this with a bone china construction and you have high quality and elegance all rolled into one. These dishes are not microwave safe (although I would not want to put dishes of this quality in the microwave anyway), but they are dishwasher safe. That being said, I prefer to wash these dishes by hand. We rarely have the need for more than four place settings and so this set of four dinner plates, four appetizer plates and four soup bowls is more than adequate for our needs, added to which the color and design is very easy to coordinate with silverware, table decor and glassware. The dinnerware compliments all of these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these dishes as part of a promotion for my college bound daughter. They are a lot nicer than I expected. The dishes feel very expensive. They look dainty being white with gold rim, but have the weight of every day dishware. They are perfect for a fancy dinner party, and will make any dish look gourmet. The only drawback is the dishes are not microwave safe. Thus pretty much not appropriate for a college student. However, I can not wait to use them at Sunday dinner.
