It is lush green with hints of tan that mimic grass roots. My sample was 4'x4' that looks great on my deck. The rubber backing helps the turf stay in place with no slipping or shifting. We used the sample outside of our RV. It gave us a cleaner spot to step onto instead of bare concrete. My dog immediately wanted to enjoy the feel of the turf, which I think says a lot.
