Easy Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit was easy to set up and everything has been top notch! Finding the audio settings truly helped with speech. Clarity. One suggestion; the Power Button seems difficult to find and use for me? A larger and. Perhaps Red button would help. Thanks. PS: I'm 88

Amazing experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colors are wonderful and the brightness like I haven't had before in other tvs. The color contrast are seamlessly. This is a tv that I will enjoy for years to come. Colors tend to blend so uniformly, you think is right in real life.

Very unhappy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv looks great when on, if I can get it to cooperate with me on the streaming service I want. I set up the tv, set up all my streaming services and for two weeks I could get it to go to the service i wanted. Now it will only go to the ROKU channel no matter what I select. Unusable at this point. Very unhappy.

Hi, Thank you for your review. If you've successfully logged in to your Samsung Account but Smart Hub isn’t loading or functioning correctly, try the following steps: 1. Check your internet connection: Go to Settings > Network > Network Status to confirm the TV is connected to a stable network. 2. Cold boot your TV: With the TV on, press and hold the Power button on your remote until the TV turns off and back on. This can help clear temporary glitches. 3. Reset Smart Hub: Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Reset Smart Hub. This will reset Smart Hub apps and settings (you may need to log back into your apps). 4. Check for firmware updates: Go to Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now to ensure you’re running the latest version. If Smart Hub still doesn’t load after these steps, we’re happy to assist further. Please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). TV great! Remote is the worse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture and sound! Remote is horrible! No microphone button! Can't use Alexa which is shown on box! I have no cell! I can't use my outdoor cameras because I can't use Alexa or Bixby without cell! Warranty great on tv.

Hi Marty5223, Thank you for sharing your review. Your TV Works With Alexa, meaning you’ll need to connect a standalone Alexa device such as an Echo speaker, to control compatible smart home devices and some experiences on your TV. Here are the steps: 1. Download both the Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings apps, if you don't already have them. Both are available for iOS or Android devices. 2. Make sure your Alexa device and TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. 3. Your TV must be enabled within the SmartThings app. If not, make sure you are signed in with your Samsung account on the TV: Settings > All Settings > Samsung Account 4. Log in to the SmartThings app with the same Samsung account. Tap Devices, and if your TV isn’t already shown, tap + to add it to the app. 5. In the Alexa app, enable the SmartThings skill and sign into your Samsung account. This will automatically connect your Samsung TV to Alexa and let you use voice commands to control your television. If you need more help, we’re here. Give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Love this TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the perfect size for my space and has an amazing picture, colors are so bright and vivid. As a senior I wish the remote was a little bigger it would be easier to hold and see especially if arthritis is present in my hands.

Great display and better remote for older users

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 65" Samsung replaced a similar 12 yr. old 55" display that was being used by an older family member. I found that the smart TV options stopped working properly and some of the streaming apps were no longer supported. I considered adding a ROKU devices to overcome these issues but more remotes=confusion for my older non-technical family members. Once I placed the display in the room they were amazed. Those extra few inches really filled the room with a bright clear image. We immediately noticed a difference in the crispness of the broadcast tv and the level of brightness that could be obtained. The bezel free display looks like it is floating over the credenza/cabinet below. One thing I wasn't sure about was the remote. It is smaller and replaces the older 90 button one that frequently confused my non-tech user. This remote with less button has limited the mistaken menu selections that have me getting a txt asking me to look at what they broke on the TV. On the negative, the start screen is a little busy for the older crowd. I have worked through the options and eliminated some of the home screen clutter but if there was a way to have just the sources of TV and apps show up that would be more helpful. Grandma doesn't need to be bothered with the multiple streaming service options flashing in her face.

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV looks beautiful, feels very high quality, and the smart features are easy to use. I'm especially impressed with how detailed everything looks, even on a huge screen. It was definitely worth the investment, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Needs a better remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV itself was wonderful Color comes in good pictures great But the remote is worthless It does not work well with my fingers and luckily I had a previous Samsung remote that works great on this one but if I hadn't had that I would've been up a creek and probably would've taken the TV back

Hi George, We're sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your M70HD TV. If you're not hearing sound from your connected device over HDMI ARC or eARC, here are some steps that can help: 1. Confirm proper port connection. Make sure you're using the HDMI port labeled ARC or eARC on both your TV and the connected device (like a soundbar or receiver). Use a High-Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet (HEC) or Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable to ensure full functionality. 2. Enable HDMI eARC Mode. Go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > HDMI eARC Mode, and set it to Auto. 3. Enable Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). ARC and eARC require HDMI-CEC to function. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) and set it to On. 4. Adjust Digital Output Audio Format. Some receivers and soundbars may not support all audio formats. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format, and set this to Auto if your audio device does not support Dolby Digital+ or other advanced formats. If your device does support higher formats, Pass-Through can be selected to send audio directly without additional processing from the TV. 5. Check TV firmware. Updates may improve compatibility and resolve sound issues. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now to install the latest version. If the issue continues, try restarting both the TV and the audio device, switching HDMI cables, or toggling Anynet+ off and back on. If you need further help, please reach out to Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat agents are also available on the ‘Support’ section of our website. ~ Samsung Advisor
