It only toasts the bottom of the bread. I have been toasting twice but that really sucks. I have also turned the dial to darker but then it either burns or I have to keep popping it up to see if it's done or burnt.

Left slot toasted inside of bread a lot more than the outside of bread which is barely toasted. The right slot more evenly toasted but inside still a little darker. My old kitchen aide worked much better until it died after several years of use.

So far the toaster is working great. Cancel button lights and works as per instruction booklet. The only issue I see is the Control Knob needs a black dot or line to line up with the number desired.

After trying many different toasters, I finally found one that works like it’s supposed to. The different settings are just right and it feels sturdier in all aspects.

Great new toaster. I knew I had a crumby cheap toaster, but I didn't realize how bad it was until i bought this new toaster. Looks great, toasts both sides evenly, easy to adjust and the toast pops all they way up.

2 slice capacity. Very simple controls with a modern design. Overall the toaster works good at first there is a smell but after running it a few times it seems to go away.

Absolutely beautiful and good quality, but no matter the setting, the toast is still dark and overdone. This was a lovely gift but I know the giver would not be pleased as she has high standards.

Works great! Toast is even. I have minimal counter space and this toaster fits perfectly. My other GE appliances have performed well for years.

Instructions are simple for first use. Zero issues with toaster performance. Used daily since receiving toaster.

Like the design of toaster and all the selections for color of my toast. Would recomend buying GE products.
